#RHOP Star Charrisse Jackson Jordan’s Marriage Problems Has Turned Her Into A “Different Person”
Get ready for the return of The Real Housewives of Potomac!
Be prepared to meet a new Charrisse Jackson-Jordan. When we first met Charrisse last season she held herself to a standard that was above the other women. But when her nearly two-decade marriage to NBA player-turned-coach, Eddie Jordan, began to fall apart, a more vulnerable Charrisse began to emerge.
“When I saw Season 1, I saw a very sad person, and I was miserable,” Charrisse told Bravo’s Daily Dish.
The two lived in different cities, Charrisse in Maryland and Jordan in New Jersey. The bombshell dropped at the end of Season 1 was that husband and wife had not spoken to each other since RHOP began airing. Sharing her experience of her failing marriage effected Charrisse deeply for the upcoming Season 2.
“For me, it’s a different level of comfort with it, primarily because last season when I started filming, my life was in chaos, so that wasn’t the best time to start filming a reality show,” Charrisse revealed to The Daily Dish. “But I’ve gotten past a lot of that, and so it’s easier for me to communicate what’s going on in my life, whereas last season, I probably was more reserved.”
Last season was a “wakeup call” for Charrisse to how unhappy she really was.
“Watching that, I was like, ‘OK, you need to get your stuff together.’ And so I just kind of changed my position of who I was as a person because of Season 1.”
This season Charrisse claims she’s a “different person” and has “accepted” that her marriage wasn’t meant to be.
“My marriage was something that I wanted last season, and this season, I’ve accepted that it’s not meant to be. And I’m moving on and accepting it and finding ways to get my life back.”
We’ll get to meet this new and improved Charrisse when The Real Housewives of Potomac returns on Sunday, April 2 at 9/8c on Bravo. Tell us what you think. Will Charrisse be able to climb down off her high horse?
