#RHOA Bob Whitfield Responds To Abuse Allegations During His Marriage To Sheree

On the latest Real Wives of Atlanta episode, Sheree Whitfield and her ex-husband, Bob, finally talked about his past abusive behavior. And it was eye-opening.

On a van ride during their vacation in Maui, Phaedra Parks, Kenya Moore, Bob and Sheree talked about divorce. Bob said:

“After we split, we went on a trip to Las Vegas and I was driving and she fell asleep and I was like. ‘It would be easy for me to take the seat belt off of you and hit the brakes so she can fly her ass through the window.”

Kenya was shocked at Bob’s remark. He went on to ask Sheree:

“Have I ever smacked you? Choked you? Have I ever choked you? For real, I might have forgotten.”

Sheree said that yes, he had choked her. Bob asked if she could breathe and then said that maybe he didn’t choke her hard enough. Large sunglasses shielded Sheree’s eyes as tears streamed down her face.

Of course social media blew up at Bob. You won’t be surprised to know he still shows no remorse.

One fan of the show called Bob pathetic and a coward. He joked back that he’d go ask the wizard to work on the coward thing.

In another tweet, Bob defended his actions by saying relationships are volatile. He tweeted, “what you got to see was the reality of most relationship and the volatile nature of togetherness.”

Sheree posted a picture of herself in a strong pose, saying, “And still I rise…”

Though Sheree and Kenya have had their disagreements, it was Kenya who put her arms around Sheree and tried to comfort her during the van ride. Kenya posted this message of support to Sheree.

On a sneak peek of next week’s show, Sheree and Bob talk further about their relationship. Sheree wants Bob to take responsibility for his actions, but he remains defensive.

Question: why was Sheree thinking about giving Bob another chance in the first place? Was she seriously thinking about a reconciliation?
