Family insiders who were present at the mass, are reporting some interesting details about the sad goodbye.

A source reveals EXCLUSIVELY to AllAboutTheTea.com that Kathy Wakile, Antonia’s niece, was not in attendance.

Kathy and Rich Wakile did not attend the funeral,” a source reveals.

Kathy was part of the main cast for three seasons, before stepping into a part-time role last season. The relationship between her and cousin, Teresa Giudice, was strained when the season wrapped.

Robyn Levy posted a photo on Instagram, of white balloons released during the gathering, in Antonia’s memory. Levy briefly appeared on the last season of RHONJ.

“To our friends, teresa & joe, joe & melissa and the kids, I wish I could hug you all so big that it would take away your pain, but know that the balloons lifted today in your mom’s / nonna’s memory will always be remembered and was a beautiful way to let her know you are ready and open to take her on as your angel ???? with a heavy heart, ❤ jake, christina & robyn”

Another attendee claims that Melissa Gorga was dressed to the nines — using colorful imagery to describe the reality star.

“Melissa was cold as ice — not shedding a tear. She was standing next to Teresa, and kept calling out Gia‘s name. She made a spectacle of herself — dressed like Michael Jackson, carrying a Chanel bag,” an eyewitness tells AllAboutTheTea.com.

Teresa posted a sweet family photo on Monday, in a touching tribute. “Our MOM the Rock of our family ❤” Teresa wrote.

Teresa‘s husband, Joe Giudice, who is currently serving a stint in federal prison, was not in attendance.

How do you think Antonia’s death will impact Teresa’s ability to pull off her eighth season in the Bravo spotlight? Will production back off and allow the family to grieve?
