Real Housewives of Orange County veteran, Vicki Gunvalson, is accusing one of her employees of embezzlement.
The reality star alerted the authorities, after allegedly nabbing an employee stealing thousands from her company, Coto Insurance & Financial Services.
AllAboutTheTea.com learned of the situation in real time — and can now confirm details surrounding the case.
Sources close to the Bravoleb revealed to AllAboutTheTea.com that Gunvalson became suspicious after she noticed discrepancies in her books. Gunvalson is claiming that a staffer lifted commissions to his account, and stole clients from Gunvalson’s son, Michael Wolfsmith. Wolfsmith is occasionally featured on the Bravo show, and is the vice president of her company.
A source close to Gunvalson reports that she examined the discovery herself, which led to the suspect, an unnamed hire brought on two months ago. Gunvalson’s investigation revealed that the employee allegedly embezzled a staggering sum of approximately $45k. He has since been fired.
Gunvalson enjoys a stellar reputation within the insurance industry, and a solid standing in the local business community. Vicki began her career in the Insurance and Financial Services industry in 1991 and quickly became a top agent. She’s built Coto Insurance & Financial Services into one of the most successful Insurance Agencies in the United States. The insurance mogul is a self-made business maven — whose commitment to integrity is above reproach.
A police report was filed two weeks ago, and law enforcement insiders say that an investigation has been launched.
