#RHOBH Eileen Davidson Feels Lisa Rinna’s Remarks On Kim’s Sobriety Were ‘Inaccurate’ But Not ‘Malicious’
Eileen Davidson is drunk on Lisa Rinna Kool-Aid. Let’s all pause a minute to think about what flavor that Kool-Aid might be. Lies and lipstick, perhaps?
All right, back to Eileen and her special brand of crazy. In her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills blog this week, she cosigns Rinna’s actions, saying that intent is everything, that Rinna doesn’t have a mean bone in her bony little body.
“Watching the show the last couple weeks, Lisa Rinna’s comments about Kim Richards to Eden have been played many times… But, here’s the context I think we’re missing.”
Eileen, like Rinna did last week, blames everyone but Rinna herself. Eileen insists Kim shouldn’t have interfered in the conversation where she and Rinna raked Dorit Kemsley over the coals about pantygate. Kim may have issues, but all she did that night was agree with Dorit that Eileen and Rinna bounce off each other. Rinna turned on her like a pit bull. If pit bulls had balloon lips.
“Believe me, the last thing I ever wanted to do was talk about Kim Richards. But she made that impossible when she inserted herself into a situation she knew nothing about…Kim would never have been a topic of conversation if she hadn’t aggressively gone after Lisa R. and me and how she viewed our friendship.”
God forbid anyone have an opinion other than Eileen’s.
Though Eden came to the rescue that night by siding with Soapy and Sudsy, now she’s viewed as the enemy for daring to speak truth to power. And by “power”, of course, I’m referring to Lisa Vanderpump.
“The only thing that helped diffuse the tension between Kim and Lisa R. was Eden Sassoon, who none of us knew very well. She stepped in, as a sober woman, and provided wisdom and clarity.”
Though Eileen admits that Rinna’s words about Kim were “extreme” and “inaccurate,” she didn’t mean any harm. (Seriously?)
“…Lisa R. confided in Eden, asking her how she might finally find peace with Kim. That is the only reason she had that conversation…her intent wasn’t malicious, no matter how it may look, or no matter how it’s being portrayed now.”
And that’s why Lisa Rinna had a weird case of amnesia? Because she was so darned sincere, she couldn’t remember saying Kim was close to death? Bish, please.
“The very next day, emotions still fresh, Lisa R. confided in Eden, asking her how she might finally find peace with Kim. That is the only reason she had that conversation. Lisa R.’s comments about Kim were inaccurate and extreme. That’s not up for debate. But her intent wasn’t malicious, no matter how it may look, or no matter how it’s being portrayed now.”
I think Vanderpump might take exception to that statement. And I think the only reason Rinna was inconsolable in Mexico was because she’d been caught and didn’t have any carefully constructed lies to get her out of trouble.
Eileen bestows a fair share of blame on Eden for blowing up the situation. And I don’t disagree. But Rinna whispered in Eden’s ear, then pointed her, like a missile, toward Kim and watched from the sidelines.
“…what Lisa R. said is nothing as damaging as Eden going around saying horrible things about Kim and Kyle both, and comparing Kim and Kyle, to their faces and behind their backs, to her and her sister who passed away from alcohol. In these situations, I think the intent is key.”
Is it, though? Last season, Vanderpump gave Eileen approximately 42 apologies for daring to bring up her personal life, but now Rinna, who said a truly horrible thing—whether she thought it was true or not—is given a pass because she didn’t have any ill intent.
Isn’t that terribly convenient?
So, do you think Eileen is off her rocker or did she and Rinna make some kind of devil’s pact to have each other’s backs no matter what?
