‘RHOBH’ Eileen Davidson Defends Lisa Rinna — Claims Rinna Is Not Trying To Talk About Kim Richards
On The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa “Loose Lips” Rinna has found herself in hot water for talking out of both sides of her mouth.
First, she told Eden Sassoon that Kim Richards was “mostly” sober, but close to death. Since Eden decided to swoop in and save Kim from herself, Rinna has backed off, and now claims she doesn’t want to talk about Kim at all.
Eileen Davidson’s, Rinna’s bestie, says Rinna is trying really, super duper hard not to talk about Kim, y’all. Seriously!
In talking to Bravo’s Daily Dish, Eileen stands by her decision to confront Kim for her lapse in sobriety a couple of seasons back.
“I felt like whatever happened two years ago, I had a reason for saying what I said, which really wasn’t that much of a big deal.”
It was kind of a big deal, as it drove the storyline that season. But now Kim is in a different place, and Eileen recognizes that.
“I’m not seeing any problems. She seems happy and healthy, and I celebrate that. I’m happy for her. I’m ready to move on from that. I don’t want to drag this woman down. She’s been through Hell. She’s doing great, I want to applaud that.”
Eileen doesn’t want to revisit the past. Kim falling off the wagon is so, like, two years ago!
“…to be talking about it, I’m just like, ew. It just makes me feel icky. I don’t like it. It’s not two years ago. This is a different time, and I don’t know why we’re going back to that bad time. She’s not there.”
Apparently, Rinna didn’t get that memo. And I guess Rinna forgot to mention the overly dramatic conversation she had with Eden, because that “Kim is close to dying” talk was new to Eileen.
“Lisa said some things I didn’t even know she said until later, and that was unfortunate, because it kind of brought all the Kim stuff up again, but I think she’s really trying to move on.”
And just how is she moving on? By whispering in Eden’s ear and using her as a mouthpiece? But that’s not quite how Eileen sees it.
“…her [Rinna] not supporting Eden‘s point-of-view is Lisa trying not to be pulled back into it. [Lisa] goes, ‘I just don’t want to be involved in this. I’m walking away.’ We both kind of felt like, you know what, Eden‘s going too far with this.”
Eileen maintains that though they may be friends, she doesn’t have to cosign everything Rinna says.
“I don’t feel like I have to back her… I don’t agree with everything she does. I can sometimes understand why she does it, but I’m not Lisa, and Lisa‘s not me.”
Still, she understands Rinna and how she got “triggered” at game night.
“I do understand a lot of her point-of-view where Kim is involved because I’ve been there, I’ve seen it. I do understand how she got triggered at the game night at Kyle‘s house when Kim kind of inserted herself into our conversation.”
God forbid anyone offer up an opinion when you’re all sitting at the same table, sharing a conversation.
So, do you agree with Eileen? Is Rinna trying to stop all Kim chatter or is Rinna simply backtracking once again?
