Gone Too Far: ‘RHOBH’ Fans Attack Dorit Kemsley’s Baby Daughter — Dorit Responds!
Dorit Kemsley is new to the reality TV game. On the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Dorit threw a party for her husband, PK, and introduced her infant daughter to the ladies. While they gushed over adorable Pheonix, some viewers weren’t as kind.
Dorit has been filmed mostly without her daughter this season. The baby had to wear a corrective helmet for the first few months of her life. Dorit and PK were shown going to the doctor, but other than that, Phoenix has been left in the care of the nanny while Dorit filmed the show.
Viewers took aim at Dorit, saying Pheonix didn’t have any eye contact with her mother, and that equaled the lack of bonding.

Dorit's daughter doesn't even look her in the eyes-lack of bond.— fran sam (@babyboomerfran) January 25, 2017
Another tweeted that Dorit had no connection to her own children.
This is very cheesy! Your behavior at the level of a rocking horse! @doritkemsley1 It is an amazing woman and mother!

Dorit clapped back, saying:
“She’s not even one you freek [sic].”

Some fans stood up for Dorit, saying kids were off limit. One tweeted, “oh lord people STOP going after kids! It’s just wrong on so many levels!” Another said, “babies are attracted to bright lights especially camera lighting. You’ll see this with babies on most shows.”
Boy George, Dorit’s houseguest, stood up for her, saying she was a “brilliant mum.”
Dorit is a loving mother to her kids, her daughter phoenix is my godchild and I'm around and I see what goes on. She is a brilliant mum! https://t.co/5opTjzxUtm

This very topic was discussed on RHOBH last year, when Yolanda Hadid said her two children, Bella and Anwar, both suffered from Lyme disease, too. Lisa Vanderpump questioned the diagnosis, and some felt that bringing children into the drama was out of bounds.
So, what do you think? Should fans make snap judgments based on filmed moments that make it to the screen or are we seeing a true reflection of the Housewives lives?
