Stassi Schroeder ‘Suicidal’ & Admits To Drug Use While Filming ‘Vanderpump Rules’

Stassi Schroeder has been the designated mean girl since the beginning of Vanderpump Rules. But she admitted on her podcast that the pressure to look good got to her, and she took Adderall while filming the first two seasons of the show.

Stassi admitted her drug usage on a podcast, Straight Up with Stassi.

“When I started season 3, I had just quit Adderall. I was like ‘I’m not gonna be good. I don’t know if I can actually do this without taking a drug.”

Adderall is meant to treat ADHD and sleep ailments that cause drowsiness during the day, but for those who don’t need it, it causes a high that’s similar to coke.

“I didn’t need it. None of my castmates needed it. But Oh. My. God… I was so skinny when I was on it, it was the best!”

Stassi first spoke about the issue to her co-host, Kristina Kelly, back in 2015.

“Hey it was a big part of my life, why the hell not? So that’s that…it’s the worst drug I’ve ever taken, I swear to God. I feel like it’s worst than coke because you get so addicted to it because it’s a pill and so you think it’s okay. But it made me absolutely psycho and it made me depressed all the time.”

The drug made Stassi so shaky, Kelly often had to help Stassi carry drinks when she was still waiting tables at SUR.

But Stassi’s depression didn’t stop when she got off the Aderall. Just last month, she was on the receiving end of fan backlash when she argued with Scheana Shay over an apology Scheana made to Lala Kent.

Stassi looked like the mean girl she always is, and when fans called her out on it, she tweeted:

As the hate continued, Stassi said she was having a breakdown and begged everyone to stop tweeting mean comments.

Seems to me that Stassi’s behavior has been pretty consistent — Adderall or no Adderall. Thoughts?
