Real Housewives of New York star Luann de Lesseps, is now a married woman, however, her wedding was reportedly ruined by former co-star, Jill Zarin.

The couple exchanged vows on New Year’s Eve in Palm Beach, Florida, and had originally wanted to keep the ceremony private.

According to RadarOnline, they couple agreed to a $20,000 paycheck from People Magazine to cover the event. However, due to Zarin’s overzealous sharing of photos on social media, this may have nullified their contract with People.

Luann is pissed,” an insider revealed. “Jill cannot help herself. She constantly needs to make everything about her.”

There was another controversy surrounding the holiday nuptials according to Page Six. At first, Luann and then fiancé, Tom D’Agostino, made the request that instead of wedding gifts, that guests make a donation to the charity of their choice. However, just prior to the wedding, the couple changed their minds and asked guests to donate to a GoFundMe account set up to help a relative pay for medical expenses. Guests reportedly found this bait-and-switch tacky.

“You’re going to spend a half-million-plus on a wedding, and then ask your friends to cough up for your relative’s Band-Aids?” one guest complained. “Luann and Tom are both very rich – [they should] write a check to their relative and not hustle their wedding guests for cash.”

Another guest commented that the event “really didn’t seem like a reality star’s wedding” because of the lack of cameras and crew asking people to sign releases, which is a good thing, right? At this time, it’s still unclear if RHONY will show the wedding as part of Season 9, especially since much of the cast was not invited. The reported Housewives in attendance were Cynthia Bailey, Dorinda Medley, and former cast mates, Kelly Bensimon and of course, Jill Zarin.

Despite the cheating scandal that plagued their relationship earlier this year, Luann and Tom tied the knot and are now enjoying their honeymoon in the Bahamas.

Luann shared a post, “We’re off! Happy 2017!”
