‘Married to Medicine’ Star Quad Webb-Lunceford Calls Lisa Nicole Cloud A ‘Parasite’ & Talks Reconciliation With Mariah

Married to Medicine’s Quad Webb-Lunceford is never one to shy away from saying how she truly feels. 

In a candid sit-down with ET, Quad opens up about her relationships on the show — especially her estrangement from Mariah Huq.

“I literally love who I love, I’m with who I’m with, and I’m for you if I’m for you. So, I don’t really understand … the thought process of the scandal, and the shadiness, and the shady, sneaky parasite piece of work. It’s just not my tea.”

The parasite in question is, of course, Lisa Nicole Cloud. Last season, Lisa Nicole and Mariah were at odds, but this season they’re besties — and Quad isn’t buying this newfound friendship.

“A parasite needs a host. I actually think she’s using Mariah to be her host, actually. They might be using each other. I think the relationship that they are now in is quite interesting.”

Due to a miscarriage, we didn’t see much of Mariah on season three. Now that she’s back, Quad says Mariah needs all the alliances she can get.

“I think that it was born out of desperation. There were no allies on the show for them, so they said, ‘Let’s get together and see if we can take the Quad machine down!’ But it’s impossible. Not gonna happen!”

When the show started, Quad and Mariah had been pals for a decade. Their relationship was showcased on those first early episodes. Fans have been scratching their heads over what exactly happened to fracture the two. Quad takes no responsibility for the breakup.

“Here’s the thing: I never changed the dynamics [of the friendship. So, you’d probably address that question to the person who changed the dynamics of our relationship. It was never me. But you know what? Honestly, I wish her well. I wish her family well. I think I’m OK where I am.”

Quad shuts down any hope that the two might rekindle their once strong friendship. But she claims that she prays for Mariah and her family.

“Unfortunately, guys, I’m sorry, it’s probably never going to be another Quad and Mariah show. It’s probably never going to be another Quad and Mariah anything. But again, I’m praying for her. I wish that she’s happy and healthy and prosperous, and I think that’s giving her more than enough.”
