‘RHOA’ Kandi Burruss Confronts Phaedra Parks On Her Lies Over Betraying Their Friendship [VIDEO]
If you were hoping Jesus would fix the shattered friendship between Kandi Burruss and Phaedra Parks — you’d better think again!
With the Real Housewives of Atlanta stars taking jabs at each other on Instagram following recent Real Housewives of Atlanta episodes — it’s clear that the issues that tore their friendship apart still exist.
On Sunday’s all-new episode — the Hotlanta frenemies sit down for a heated face-to-face for the first time this season.
In the following Bravo preview clip — Phaedra tells Kandi that she gossiped cried on NeNe Leakes’ shoulder (last season) about their friendship more than she cried about her marriage issues after Kandi confronts her on the topic.
“You was doing your pity party in front of f*cking NeNe — you didn’t even cry to her about your husband — but you cried to her about our friendship,” Kandi unloads on Phaedra.
Phaedra in typical southern belle form, responds to Kandi, “Maybe I loved you more than I loved my husband,” with a straight face.
Kandi calls bullsh*t on Phaedra’s explanation. Kandi seems to believe that Phaedra‘s motives were less than loving and perhaps story line was the reason for her betrayal. Smart girl, Kandi!
Prior to their meeting, Kandi and her team discuss Phaedra‘s denial of her bomb threat. And in a Talking Head, Kandi comments that Phaedra will fabricate a “bogus” excuse so that the public won’t think that someone would be that angry with her to actually blow her up. Kandi jokes that Phaedra should really be on ‘How To Get Away With Murder,’ with her pathological lying.
I think it’s safe to say — a reconciliation between Burruss and Parks is done! Pull the plug on this friendship.
