What kind of world do we live in when reality television isn’t real? Life can be so cruel sometimes! Case in point, Radar Online is reporting there’s real fakery going on during the filming of this season’s Real Housewives of New York. Say it isn’t so!

The cast members and producers have reportedly been staging scenes in the streets of the Big Apple “surrounded by every amenity a movie set would have.” Including “Craft services table,” that Sonja Morgan was seen perusing with curlers in her hair.

And all the ladies now have matching white robes they wear until filming begins, waiting for their close-ups.

Need to change outfits for the scene? No problem. Dorinda Medley was able to change from elegant clothes to work-out attire, with no gym in sight.

Socialite Tinsley Mortimer will be the newest RHONY cast member and reportedly, she’s started filming the Bravo series at numerous locations this month.

Mortimer was spotted filming with Ramona Singer and Sonja during the week of November 19 at ‘Housewives’ hangout Beautique Bar.

The ex-wife of Topper Mortimer made her return to the Big Apple, after she was arrested for trespassing outside the Palm Beach, Florida home of her on/off boyfriend, Alexander “Nico” Fanjul, while he was inside with another woman.

Reportedly returning for the show’s ninth season are: Bethenny Frankel, Carole Radziwill, Dorinda Medley, Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer and Sonja MorganJulianne “Jules” Wainstein will be exiting the Bravo series after her rookie season to focus on family and a bitter divorce.
