Bravo bigwig, Andy Cohen, is used to dealing with ornery housewives, but when Real Housewives of Orange County husband, Michael Dodd, slammed him on Twitter, the host of Watch What Happens Live was taken aback.
On Monday, a caller asked Andy about the diss, spilling the beans during his Radio Andy SiriusXM show.
“Oh my God,” Andy said as he read the tweets. “It’s that moment where I find out I’m being trashed on Twitter by a Real Housewife’s husband.”
“Oh my God, thanks for telling me about this. I mean, Michael Dodd? Your wife is on my crappy show,” Andy shot back.
The husband of rookie OC Housewife, Kelly Dodd, bashed Andy’s latest memoir Superficial: More Adventures from the Andy Cohen Diaries, as well as “his crap show.”
“AC needs to stop writing crappy books & fix his crap show,’ Michael posted on Twitter earlier this month, adding that Andy “can’t recognize talent’.”
Michael later clarified that he was not referring to his wife’s show, but to Watch What Happens Live.
“I am very proud of my little talk show, Michael Dodd,” Andy responded, when he heard that Michael was slamming Watch What Happens Live.
Earlier in the month Michael tweeted following his wife’s appearance on the late night gab-fest, writing, “Kelly doesn’t care whether AC likes her or not. She kisses nobody’s a**.”
Kelly joined Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge, Heather Dubrow, Shannon Beador and Meghan King Edmonds, for the Bravo original’s eleventh season.
Meghan King Edmonds is reportedly not returning for Season 12. No official announcement has been made regarding next season’s cast.
