’90 Day Fiance’ Finale Recap: It’s Wedding Day — Find Out Who Ties The Knot & Who Runs For The Hills!
The big day has arrived — the moment of truth for our 90 Day Fiance couples. Who ties the knot? Who runs for their lives? Who leaves us hanging? Chantel and Pedro have said their ‘I dos” — what about the others?
Jorge and Anfisa
It’s Jorge and Anfisa’s big day, and although just a cheapo paperwork wedding is planned, Anfisa manages to eek out a meaningful love-smirk in Jorge’s direction. Jorge shoots his Russian honey his best googly eyes, and Anfisa responds with a finale-worthy blank stare. Jorge is happy and excited about his vows, even as he reminisces about the couple’s most epic blowout fights. Jorge’s heart wants Anfisa’s rolling eyes, and nothing will stop him. His family doesn’t know about the wedding yet, and although Anfisa refuses to return Jorge’s love professions, he’s ready to take the plunge. Anfisa primps, and labels the upcoming nuptials as no biggie.
Anfisa puts on a white dress, while she dreams of a formal proposal, and the pricey number she will score for the real ceremony. Anfisa doesn’t expect this hot mess of a romance to get any better, but is ready to make it green card permanent anyway. The couple shares a smooch and heads off to the courthouse, plucky music adding a festive touch. Jorge forgot to clear his agricultural equipment out of the car — the dividing pipes a perfect symbol for the financial walls in their relationship. Jorge and Anfisa share a few pre-wedding giggles, hoping to incorporate their zany 90 day antics into the vows. The couple marries — in a bit of a season ending shocker. Anfisa sheds some tears — also a surprise. The couple is so happy, Anfisa snaps a wedded selfie. Anfisa begins planning her real wedding immediately. Jorge promises to keep making the bucks, and Anfisa promises to roll her eyes into their golden years.
Matt and Alla
It’s Matt and Alla’s wedding day, and as the day begins, we see Matt in a cute exchange with Max. Matt has his fingers crossed, hoping that the fourth time will be the charm. Big mouth Patrick may prove to be a wildcard, but the couple is excited for the day. Alla’s sis and friend Julie are there for support, and the sister love is precious. The girls fuss over making Alla pretty, as TLC rewinds her story. Alla’s sis is happy for Alla, and Matt’s sweet mom is thrilled to have another daughter-in-law. Patrick arrives, the TLC-sponsored villain of the hour. Patrick drones on about needing to get Matt’s attention, and the possibility of throwing in a mouthy objection to the marriage.
Alla walks down the aisle, and the couple looks emotional and happy. Matt hopes that Jackass Patrick keeps his yap shut, and he obliges. Patrick admits that the couple has a shot, as Matt and Alla exchange vows. The deed is done, and Matt feels blessed, their families are happy, and Alla’s American dream has come true. Alla proclaims Matt “the best”— but America is still #1. Max agrees, and launches a lively happy dance in celebration of his new permanent life in the U.S.A.
Narkyia and Lowo
We jump over to Vietnam, just in time to relive Narkyia’s ice cream cone smash on Lowo’s head. Narkyia doesn’t know what’s real, because Lowo slipped and lied again, making Narkyia doubt their love — not to mention Lowo’s shot in hell at coming to America. Lowo apologizes for the misstep, explaining that the baby mama pressure was real. Lowo later says that he feels lost, because he is torn between his best friend, and his losing struggle with the truth. He hopes that one day, he will win back Narkyia’s trust. We catch back up with Narkyia back home, making up for that wasted ice cream. She talks to her son about the trip, and breaks the news that her lover is a bit of a loser. Narkyia is honest with her son about the couple’s shaky future, and Malcolm is disappointed. Malcolm reveals that he has been picking up some shady ideas about the truth — obviously from his love-starved mother. Narkyia is rethinking this whole settling for a liar thing, and vows to consider the importance of truth, one last time.
Nicole and Azan
Nicole is discouraged because her family doesn’t believe in her true love — who is still chilling in Morocco. Nicole wishes her Moroccan trip was an exotic fairy tale, but knows that cameras busted that dream. Nicole has been struggling with communicating with Azan, as well as having the cash to bring his lukewarm heart to the states. She needs to give Azan a legal update, and find out if he’s still feelin’ it. She finally reaches Azan, and a strikingly boring convo kicks off. The couple has no chemistry, no money, no future, and no present. Nicole is willing to wait forever for Azan, but Azan isn’t sure if he can hang in there, especially after this super boring exchange. Azan caves and relents, but begins to rethink his decision when needy Nicole badgers him into obnoxious assurances of expressionless love. Nicole gobbles up his “hey whatever” commitment, and is determined to make it happen. It’s hard not to be swept away by these two.
It’s on to the Tell All episode — a final farewell to our international lovebirds!
