Bethenny Frankel Wants to Adopt Abandoned 5-Year-Old After Her Father Murders Her Mom
Real Housewives of New York star, Bethenny Frankel, offered to adopt a five year old girl yesterday, a child sadly abandoned at Port Authority Bus Terminal by her father — after he allegedly murdered her mother.
The reality mogul shared her desire on Twitter — bringing her 1.52 million followers into her plea.
How do I adopt this child? https://t.co/MaS9nvJqZU

The little girl was left alone, after her father, Elmer Gomez Ruono, told her to stay put, on the second floor of the terminal.
“She’d been sitting there for some time … The kid told the cops that her father had told her to wait there,” a source reported to the NY Post.
The girl’s mother was later found dead, inside their Stamford, Conn home. The girl, who speaks mostly Spanish, is reportedly in good health, and was taken into the care of the police on Monday. The outlet reports that the police said that the scenario appears to be a “love triangle gone bad.”
“We are taking good care of her … She is still in our custody. We are working on placing her,” a police official reported.
Bethenny, 46, shared her frustration at the system, as she discovered that she could not swoop in and save the child.
Lawyer says once w the state a private adoption impossible which is now upsetting me more. That is bullshit. @Ygardiner @people

There's a misconception that everyone wants an infant. Bc of this rule, babies r the only option. Once in system kids r lost. Sad.

Bethenny continued her min-rant, nodding to her nasty divorce from Jason Hoppy in the social media dialogue. Bethenny and Jason share 6-year-old daughter, Bryn.
Cuz the system is screwed like many things. Family law, divorce law etc etc @Vic_ritefitla

They say no to foster or adoption which is so sad @libbyhoffmann @Ygardiner @people

Do you believe that Bethenny will calm down, and continue to seek out legal channels to aid this little girl — or was this just an emotional impulse she chose to spill all over Twitter?
