Below Deck star, Kate Chastain made a court appearance on November 7, to respond to the charge of domestic violence of battery by strangulation brought about by her ex-girlfriend, Rocio “Ro” Hernandez.

Fans of Below Deck saw the couple in better times this season, however, last June an alleged violent fight broke out between the two.

The former love birds originally met in January of 2016 and it was Kate’s first dip in the lady pond. But this wasn’t Kate’s first brush with the law. She has a priors for driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance, and probation violations.

Nothing was accomplished during this court trip to Brevard County. Radar Online is reporting the “case is continued by the Defendant” and other details remain confidential at this time. Kate will have to return to court in December.
