Twitter & Netflix Down Today Due To Massive Cyberattack [Open Post]

Twitter, the popular social media platform with more than 300 million users every month, was suddenly unreachable today (Oct 21, 2016).
The massive outage was the result of a cyberattack now under investigation by federal authorities. Affected were millions on the East Coast could not access Twitter, Spotify, Netflix, Amazon, Tumblr, Reddit and other sites for over 8 hours.
At least three separate attacks were reported starting at around 7 a.m. Eastern Time, continuing past the 4 p.m. hour.
