Heather Dubrow might wear the “fancy” label, but the Real Housewives of Orange County star slipped and revealed a dirty pattern of behavior during Monday night’s episode.

The tern “gaslighting” is commonly defined as “a form of psychological abuse in which a victim is manipulated into doubting their own memory, perception, and sanity. Instances may range from the denial by an abuser that previous abusive incidents ever occurred up to the staging of bizarre events by the abuser with the intention of disorienting the victim.”

Heather’s go-to diagnosis debuted in Season 9, when viewers were just getting a taste of cast newbie, Shannon Beador’s, melodramatic reactions. Shannon melts down at a cast dinner, and Heather is seen in deep concern, consulting her MD husband about calling an ambulance.

“Terry…do you think we need to call an ambulance?” Heather asked, while cameras were rolling. “I think she’s having a psychotic break.”

Fast-forward two seasons, and the latest rookie, Kelly Dodd, is in Heather’s cross hairs. Heather is seen in the cast vehicle stating the exact same words, giving fans a deja vu moment.

“You might be having a psychotic break,” Heather said to Kelly. Heather had already remarked to Tamra Judge within Kelly’s earshot, “She’s insane, is she not?”

Heather strangely used her phone to film an earlier episode, where Kelly is seen defending herself after being disparaged and bullied, via nasty text messages, written and sent by Tamra. Shannon had earlier tried to trigger a meltdown from Kelly by getting her drunk, and claims credit for asking Heather to film the text message fallout. Tamra dramatically stated that Kelly “freaked out” in the hotel hallway, and Shannon said that she was “on a rampage” and “angry.”  However, all viewers witnessed was a beaten down  woman, pleading her case. Editing? Perhaps. Three against one? For sure.

Fans picked up on Heather’s behavior, and slammed her with scathing  social media feedback.

“Honey you’re such a little bitch! Trying to make your friends look like they’re crazy. You need some help seriously dude”

“You’re supposed to set the example to your children, instead you and the others gang up on a woman and push her buttons until she breaks. I wouldn’t expect that behavior from you. Imagine if one of your daughters was in Kelly’s shoes. I lost respect for you.”

“Ya know Heather, I’ve been on your team and I have not been a fan of Kelly but it was really disturbing to watch you treat her so terribly. You always talk about being married to a doctor, you would think you’d have a little more understanding about mental health and an ounce of compassion, but time and time again you prove not to.”

“You are beyond a mean girl. Beeeeeyond. Who the hell do you think you are?! A snake. A slimy filthy snake waiting and hiding. Not nice.”

Heather addressed the controversy on Instagram, writing, “Look forward to next weeks #RHOC episode and the reunion this Thursday to set the record straight about the van ride. You all haven’t seen the whole story. STAY TUNED. ( btw, check out each cast members personal tweets and IG for the last few weeks…. very telling…)”

Evidently a social media strategy is underway — and it’s not hard to guess the cast’s directive. It has been reported that most of the cast is campaigning to have Kelly fired — so stay tuned for an all out social media blitz. After Monday night’s, they have a LOT of ground to cover.
