Luann de Lesseps Alludes To Quitting ‘RHONY’ Amid Wedding Scandal ‘Housewives Have Tried to Ruin My Happiness’
Is Luann de Lesseps thinking about ditching The Real Housewives of New York, after she marries her cheating prince charming?
In an interview with Sirius XM, the Bravoleb told the host of Wake Up with Taylor, she’s “done” with the ‘Housewives’ and only focusing on her New Year’s Eve wedding to Tom D’Agostino.
“After this last season I’ve just been focusing on our wedding and traveling with Tom and being with my children,” Luann said to Taylor Strecker.
“Even though I got engaged, it was so toxic against me from the other women about being in love. They kind of tried to ruin my happiness,” de Lesseps, 51, said. “They didn’t, but they tried.”
“And so I really haven’t thought much about the Housewives! I hate to say it.”
Luann quickly clarified she is in touch with at least one of her castmates.
“Except for Dorinda [Medley]. She’s a bridesmaid because she introduced Tom and I.”
A bridal shower was recently thrown for Luann and the only housewives in attendance were Dorinda and Sonja Morgan. Ramona Singer, Bethenny Frankel and Jules Wainstein did not attend the festivities.
On her wedding day, Luann is reportedly wearing three different dresses and admits to struggling to stay thin.
“I haven’t been filming so I don’t have the stress of the Housewives to keep me thin!”
