‘RHOC’ Meghan Edmonds Calls Out Her Step Kids For Not Caring About Her Pregnancy!

Remember last season on The Real Housewives of Orange County, when Meghan Edmonds bragged about what an awesome step-mom she was. Well, it seems she may have spoken too soon — now that Meghan is preggers!

“My older two step daughters, I think could care less,” the reality star revealed to Bravo’s Daily Dish.

In fairness, Lauren and Hayley have seen this show before with Jim’s second wife, Allison. And besides, Lauren is a little too busy these days to worry about Meghan’s IVF “journey.”

Lauren’s 23 now and she’s planning a wedding and she’s like whatever.”

Hayley is even less enthused.

Hayley’s 19…I think Hayley’s the most unexcited. I think she’s like, ‘Ew, dad’s having a baby. That’s so gross.”

But there’s more to it than that. Meghan tried to play mother to Hayley last year, as Lee Ann suffered through the last stages of cancer. And now their relationship has deteriorated further.

Back before Meghan’s sophomore season on RHOC started she said this:

“My relationship with Hayley right now is, it’s not in a great spot. She’s 18, and she moved out of our house, and, she knows everything and wants everything. She’s trapped between an adult and a teenager.”

Meghan added:

“I don’t think she’s that excited about us trying to have a baby with IVF. Then, of course, her mom passed away about a year ago. And then, on top of that, she’s graduated high school. She’s in a weird place in her life.”

Fortunately, Meghan’s younger step-children are more involved with her pregnancy.

“The little ones are so excited and it’s so stinking cute.”

Despite the acrimony between Allison and Meghan, the kids seem to have a close relationship with their step-mother.

“My 8-year-old stepdaughter just wants to be in the nursery with me all day long, put together everything there is to put together with me… she’s just being a little mother.”

She admits her Landon isn’t as involved.

“My stepson is 10 and he’s like, ‘whatever,’ He actually likes to feel the baby kick whereas my stepdaughter, she doesn’t like to feel the baby kick. She’s weirded out by it.”

Hopefully Hayley and Lauren will come around once the baby arrives.
