Bravo can take the housewives out of Atlanta, but definitely cannot take ATL out of the housewives!

Production for The Real Housewives of Atlanta upcoming 9th season is fully underway and the cast is currently out of North America filming in an over-the-top glam location: Hawaii! But one reality couple almost missed this trip.

On Friday, RHOA star Kandi Burruss and her husband, Todd Tucker, were booted from a Hawaiian Airlines flight in route to Honolulu for “absolutely no reason,” according to Burruss

Apparently, the Bedroom Kandi mogul was sitting in her assigned seat when a gate agent approached demanding to see her ticket because it wasn’t showing up in their system. According to Kandi, she complied with the request but later became concerned when the plane began taxiing for take off and the gate agent had not returned her ticket. The ticket has a baggage claim sticker attached to it, so it’s needed for retrieving luggage etc.

Here is where things get sketchy! Kandi inquired about the whereabouts of her ticket — triggering another airline worker to boot Kandi and Todd off the plane for causing a “commotion.” Kandi documented her ordeal on Instagram along with a video. In the video, Kandi is standing outside of the plane.

Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, Phaedra Parks, Porsha Williams and Sheree Whitfield are all together filming. Gone are cast members NeNe Leakes and Kim Fieldsreplaced by rumored newcomer: Lena Danielle Chenier.

Cynthia‘s estranged hubby, Peter Thomas, is also joining the cast in Hawaii and witnessed Kandi and Todd‘s inflight incident that got the couple kicked off the flight. Peter posted the following photo of Kandi and Todd — looking very annoyed. Peter captioned the photo, “Not happy with the bullshit that just happen…..”

UPDATE: In a statement to the Daily News, Hawaiian Airlines said they did not remove Burruss and Tucker from the plane, but rather allowed them to get off the flight at their request.

“According to reports from our crew, our flight attendants attempted to reassure the travelers that their luggage would be ready for pickup when they arrived on Maui. However, the travelers became increasingly irate and at least one member of the Burruss’ traveling party requested that the plane return to the gate,” the airline said.

“For the safety and comfort of all travelers onboard, the captain elected to return to the gate and allow the Burruss party to deplane and work with our agents to resolve their concerns. HA 526 took off at 5:15 after a 45-minute delay. Ms. Burruss, her husband and two members of their traveling party were accommodated on the next flight, which departed from Honolulu at 6:00 p.m.”

Did Kandi and Todd get ejected from the plane for bizarre if not downright troubling reasons or did the couple cause major turbulence? Tell us what you think. Sound off in the comments.
