Real Housewives of Orange County alum, Lizzie Rovsek, is setting the record straight, after stepping in to defend her friend, Kelly Dodd, during a nasty Twitter battle with Shannon Beador.

Lizzie tweeted Kelly in a show of support, and Shannon lashed out at the former fan favorite. Lizzie spoke exclusively to AllAboutTheTea.com, and shared her thoughts about Shannon’s  reaction.

“You realize this whole thing started on Twitter because I was only defending my friend, and acknowledging, from experience, I know where she is coming from,” Lizzie said. “I didn’t even tweet Shannon. She just chimed in to clearly discredit any point of view that I have.”

Lizzie also said that her reality TV experience with Shannon was not always a positive one.

“Shannon wasn’t so good to me. I truly believe she created nonsense drama with me because she no longer needed my friendship,” Lizzie revealed. “I loved Shannon and I always defended and protected her. If she was a true friend and she was upset about something, we should have talked it out. Her true colors were revealed.”

Shannon’s unpredictable reactions have defined her character, and Lizzie spoke about one particularly strange upset with her former co-star.

“I wrote a very pro Shannon blog and she got mad at me and acted like I wasn’t her friend,” Lizzie explained. “I didn’t bash or say anything derogatory about her.”

There has been much discussion about Meghan King Edmonds and Shannon Beador’s mutual decision to not go to Vicki Gunvalson, after she was injured in a dangerous accident — a wreck captured by Bravo cameras. The Glamis Dunes rollover was a potentially serious one, and Shannon and Meghan chose not to travel 35-minutes to the hospital, to check on their co-worker.

Lizzie pointed out that Vicki would have acted differently, if any of the cast — friend or not — needed support, in a time of crisis.

“If any one of them were taken to the hospital — Vicki would have gone,” Lizzie said.

Shannon is easily triggered on Twitter, and blasted Lizzie as an irrelevant social media voice. Lizzie chose to step out of the Bravo spotlight, but her experiences do confirm that Shannon’s reality game has been shifty from the start.
