Bombshell! Vicki Gunvalson Reveals that David Beador’s Mother Wanted Shannon Dumped for the Mistress

Tonight’s all-new episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County promises to be an emotional rollercoaster. And the biggest drama of the episode happens when Tamra Judge takes Heather Dubrow, Vicki Gunvalson, and, Kelly Dodd for a relaxing day at a spa to make up for the dune buggy accident.

The ladies discuss Shannon Beador‘s mother-in-law’s inappropriate statement about Shannon pushing David into his affair. Vicki says to the mud-covered ladies.

“David’s mom doesn’t like Shannon. She wishes David would have stayed with his mistress.” Once Tamra lifts her jaw from the ground, she repeats, “With the mistress?” Vicki says, “Because David was happier.”

Vicki‘s bombshell revelation leaves the ladies shocked — especially Tamra — whose jaw practically hits the floor.

Shannon has since forgiven her husband, David, for cheating on her with another woman. But Vicki‘s disclosure has to sting — because Shannon knows that her spouse of more than 20 years and father of her three daughters — was in love with his mistress.

“I thought I was in love with her, yes,” David told host Andy Cohen in the no-holds-barred Watch What Happens Live episode.

During a counseling session featured on RHOC, David listed the highs in his life and marriage and one of them was the affair. Shannon addressed her husband’s comments about his cheating in her Bravo blog, writing.

“When watching David reveal the highs and lows in his life, I felt like I was punched in the stomach. I saw that he listed the affair as both a “high” and a “low.” I heard him say that the affair gave him ‘new life.'”
