It’s mind-boggling how much a person must make in order to find themselves owing over $900,000.00 in taxes, but that’s exactly the position NeNe Leakes finds herself in.

According to court documents, in addition to the $824,366.01 owed by NeNe to the IRS for unpaid taxes, now the State of California says the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star owes them $86,000 in taxes. Documents have been filed to begin seizing the reality stars assets.

NeNe had a very good year in 2014, it seems, so why not just hand over the money like the rest of us poor shmucks? Bravo tried to lure her back to RHOA for season 9, but reportedly NeNe turned down the deal when contract negotiations fell through.
Although, NeNe is now free to pursue other opportunities, joining Season 9 could have potentially paid her past-due liens.
