‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Nathan Griffith Arrested For Burgarly & Criminal Domestic Violence

Teen Mom 2 part-timer, Nathan Griffith, is back in the clink after being arrested on Sunday, for domestic violence and burglary.

Jenelle Evans’ ex-fiancee is facing two felony charges, for burglary and “domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature,” according to his arrest record. Myrtle Beach SC police busted Nathan around noon, on North Oak Street.

South Carolina law determines that a “high and aggravated nature” of domestic violence has occurred, when any of the following has taken place. The person:

• commits the offense under circumstances manifesting extreme indifference to the value of human life and great bodily injury to the victim results;

• commits the offense, with or without an accompanying battery and under circumstances manifesting extreme indifference to the value of human life, and would reasonably cause a person to fear imminent great bodily injury or death; or

• violates a protection order and, in the process of violating the order, commits domestic violence in the first degree

• uses a deadly weapon

• knowingly and intentionally impeding the normal breathing or circulation of the blood of a household member by applying pressure to the throat or neck or by obstructing the nose or mouth of a household member and thereby causing stupor or loss of consciousness for any period of time

• commits the offense in the presence of a minor

• commits the offense against a person he knew, or should have known, to be pregnant

• commits the offense during the commission of a robbery, burglary, kidnapping, or theft

• uses physical force against another to block that person’s access to any cell phone, telephone, or electronic communication device with the purpose of preventing, obstructing, or interfering with: the report of any criminal offense, bodily injury, or property damage to a law enforcement agency; or a request for an ambulance or emergency medical assistance to any law enforcement agency or emergency medical provider

MTV chronicled the romance between Nathan and Jenelle, and fans watched the couple meet, shack up, get engaged, and have a son named Kaiser, who is now two. Their volatile relationship ended in a custody battle, which was settled a few months ago.

Nathan and Jenelle have since moved on, with other partners. Nathan was last arrested in June, for drunk and disorderly conduct. We will update his latest run-in with the law, as details emerge.
