Bethenny Frankel NOT Quitting ‘RHONY’ Despite Her Claims She’s Leaving
The rumor mill has been churning about Bethenny Frankel quitting The Real Housewives of New York.
Turns out those are only rumors. Bethenny has a three-year contract with Bravo, and with her finally “earning her keep” this season, they aren’t about to release her from her contract.
“She’s not going anywhere,” the insider told Radar.
Her big return was signed in 2014, leaving Bethenny one remaining season to fulfill. The deal earned Bethenny a reported $1 million dollar paycheck after a three-year hiatus.
This season Bethenny is embroiled in the future happiness of Luann de Lesseps and her fiancé, Tom D’Agostino’s pending nuptial controversy.
The night before their engagement party, Tom was photographed making out with a model in a bar. Bethenny has proof. On the next episode she braces the Countess for bad news.
Luann says, “Please don’t let it be about Tom.”
“It’s about Tom,” Bethenny says.
“Well…” Luann wants to know, but she doesn’t want to know.
“And it’s true,” Bethenny confirms “And I need you to know that, before I tell you.” Bethenny explains that she didn’t go looking for this information, it was “dumped” in her lap.
With tears in her eyes, Bethenny says, “There is nothing about this that I want to be doing right now. Okay?”
Luann pleads to Bethenny, “Don’t do this to me. Don’t do this to me.”
So with this kind of drama, why would Bravo let Bethenny go? Unless Bethenny is pushing for her own show.
Tell us what you think. Don’t forget to tune in next Wednesday to see Luann’s reaction to the news on the season finale.
