Start spreading the news — Real Housewives of Beverly Hills castoff, Yolanda Hadid, is reportedly looking to franchise jump, and land a cast spot on Real Housewives of New York.
Life and Style is reporting that Yolanda wants to swap west coast for east, and join the Bravo gals in the big city. Yolanda has supposedly been saying that she is a “huge fan of the NYC ladies,” and that she “desperately wants” to join the cast. A source claims that discussions between Yolanda and Bravo are ongoing.
“She’s been in talks with Bravo for a few weeks about making the transition from Beverly Hills,” a source said, in spite of worries that Yolanda may prove to be a poor fit.
“NYC housewives are known for their big, bold and blunt personalities and Yolanda has a more relaxed vibe,” the insider said. “Bravo is considering the move because it could boost ratings and bring a new story line on board.”
The mother of Gigi and Bella Hadid is likely hoping to combine her life as a runway cheerleader with a comeback to reality fame. Yolanda has also hinted to returning to the modeling world herself, presumably after realizing that her Lyme disease storyline had run it’s course.
On Monday, Yolanda revealed to her Instagram followers that she recently earned her own lemon shaped gold medal, after completing a round of the Master Cleanse. Yolanda writes in her nod to the Olympic Games, “The journey of recovery from chronic disease is a long and winding road of small victories.”
Yolanda allegedly celebrated her victory with an almond — chewed slowly.
Would you welcome the chance to witness Bethenny Frankel rip apart Yolanda’s soulful quips in a NYC reality landscape — or do you think the idea is simply ridiculous?
