Teresa Giudice Claims She Forgives & Don’t Hold Grudges #RHONJ

The fact that Teresa Giudice calls Danbury Prison “camp” says a lot about her state of denial. She’s always been a stranger to reality, but on the latest episode of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, we see she’s amped things up a notch since coming home. Take her chitchat with sister-in-law Melissa Gorga for instance. Melissa pulled Teresa into the kitchen and said she wanted to put the past behind her. Here’s Tre’s version of events.

“I’m so glad we got to have that heart to heart, just the two of us, alone. I wanted to let her know that I came back with a different frame of mind –- that I just wanted peace in our lives and wanted to start everything off on a positive note.”

Actually, Teresa gave Melissa half a pat on the back, saying that taking care of her parents while she was “away” was a start on the road to proving herself to Teresa.

“I wanted her to know that I wasn’t going to fight with her anymore. That if there were some kind of disagreement, that I would just walk away… I also said that I’m not going to let anybody get between us anymore.”

Teresa accused Melissa of fueling the gossip about her instead of shutting it down. Melissa very calmly told Teresa that she had done the very same thing. They were both guilty.

“I’m really happy that Melissa was receptive to what I said. She was in the same place as I was. Maybe she did a lot of thinking, too, while I was gone.”

Wow. Does she remember bringing up the christening and trying to place all the blame on Melissa’s tanned shoulders? Probably not.

“I’m happy for her, for me, for my parents and for my brother. Melissa knows that my brother loves me and wants the family to be together.”

So, it’s up to Melissa to keep everyone happy. Is this what I’m hearing? Ultimately, Teresa was glad to be with her family once more.

“I was so happy to see Joey and Melissa, my niece and nephews, and my parents, who mean so much to me. It felt soooo good to be back with my family again. I felt like I never left.”

I guess Kathy and Rosie are no longer considered family?

“As for New Year’s Eve…I don’t know why people made such a big deal about me calling Jacqueline that night… Dolores and I go way back and I wanted her to feel comfortable leaving my house and let her know I was fine with her going over there. So I thought, “Let me call Jacqueline and wish her Happy New Year.”

Why did she act shocked that Jacqueline had her phone on speaker? And why was she so surprised that Kathy and Rosie had joined the Lauritas? Personally, I think it would have looked shitty if Teresa had let Dolores head over to Jacqueline’s without acknowledging her in some way. As usual, it was all for show.

Okay, on this next bit you should probably take a seat because when you start laughing your ass off, I don’t want you tip over.

“…I hadn’t seen Jacqueline in more than a year and honestly forgot about a lot of the things that happened with us before I went away. I’m the type of person that forgives. I don’t like to hold on to anger. It eats you up alive. She and I go way back, too, so it just felt easy – and right – to call her and wish her Happy New Year.”

I don’t think Teresa has a lot going on in that giant cabeza of hers, but I know she is like an elephant when it comes to holding a grudge. And she can never, ever, under any circumstance, admit she’s wrong. Even Teresa’s take on Juicy Joe acting like an asshole to Gia is glossed over.

“But I also laughed when Joe was so strict about Gia going out on New Year’s Eve…Joe and Gia compromised and she went out for a little bit and was back home – on time – to be with her family. Joe was happy…and so was I…”

Hello, Lala Land. Who needs reality? Certainly not Teresa, despite the fact that she’s a reality star.

What was your take on the MelissaTeresa truce? How long do you think it will last?
