Cynthia Bailey Lists Atlanta Home For Sale Amid Rumors She’s Leaving #RHOA
There is a rumor circulating that The Real Housewives of Atlanta may be down one beauty — with a report claiming that Cynthia Bailey may be turning in her peach, and moving on.
The Atlanta Journal Constitution claims that Bailey wants to shift her focus from reality TV to her businesses, and her daughter’s budding modeling career. Cynthia has already listed the home that she shared with her soon to be ex-hubby, Peter Thomas, with a $699k price tag.
Bailey has not confirmed what her future holds with Bravo, but the report comes in the wake of announcing her divorce from Peter Thomas, after a six year long marriage.
“I want to take some time for myself. I think the time apart has been good for him, as well. It wasn’t like I had to do it right this second but the more we got used to not being together and living together, the easier this divorce is going to be,” Cynthia told E! News. “I don’t want it to be an ugly divorce because I still love Peter. I just don’t want to be married to Peter anymore.”
Peter was allegedly blindsided by the decision. He blamed a lack of privacy for the split, a result of a marriage being featured in the reality spotlight. Cheating rumors have plagued the Bar One owner, accusations which Thomas has flatly denied. Cynthia doesn’t fully cosign her husband’s opinion, as to why the marriage failed.
“Regardless of if we were on the show or not, our issues would have happened anyways because it’s just personalities and it’s just chemistry and it’s also compatibility,” Cynthia explained, adding that she remained “really optimistic” that the ex-couple would remain friends.
Peter alluded to meetings with Bravo in late June, via a photo on his Instagram account. Could viewers tune in in to see Bravo’s Atlanta, and catch Peter Thomas — but no Cynthia? Would you be disappointed to see Cynthia go?
