Joe Gorga Confronts Melissa Over Neglecting Home For Her New Job “I Don’t Want a Part-Time Wife!” #RHONJ
It’s Christmas on The Real Housewives of New Jersey!
Melissa Gorga is playing hosts for the Gorga/Giudice Christmas Eve Dinner and reunites with Teresa since her year-long prison stint.
On Sunday’s all-new episode, Melissa and Joe Gorga clash over the increasing amount of time Melissa spends outside of the home building her new boutique, Envy. The store is a labor of love for Melissa, who is hands on with her new investment.
Joe feels like a “single parent” and is not pleased with taking on the duties previously done by his wife. Joe is not adjusting well to the changes in his marriage — he wants things back to how it use to be — Melissa home barefoot and pregnant with the kids while he works.
In a preview clip of Sunday’s all-new episode, Joe tells his new working wife that “You’re making me crazy.” And goes on to bark,”How much longer [I gotta] pick up the kids at the school. I’m like Mr. Mom!”
Melissa pleads with her cave man husband, “If I need a little extra help with the kids. It’s not the end of the world.”
Joe snipes, “I don’t want you to work. I want you home. I didn’t want a part-time wife!”
Melissa is mortified Joe is speaking to her like this in front of her employees — in a Talking Head she says, “Part-time wife? What the hell is a part-time wife? That’s so rude. There’s like people here that I am the boss of.”
Watch the embarrassing confrontation go down in a preview clip below.
Change is the big theme of season 7. Viewers will see Teresa Giudice transition from her jailed nightmare emotionally able to play ball, and prepared to recreate her trashy magic.
