It’s about a dog’s life, and Lisa Vanderpump is hitting the ground running, as the seventh season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills takes shape.

Reportedly, Bravo bowed to the Queen, agreeing to showcase Vanderpump’s causes if she committed to a seventh season on RHOBH. The LGBT and animal rights communities will score big!

As her season 6 tagline boast, “I’m passionate about dogs just not crazy about b**ches,” Lisa and hubby, Ken Todd, are opening a dog rescue and adoption center in West Hollywood, California.

Lisa’s love for canines turned into activism when she learned about the Yulin Dog Meat Festival in China.

“A few months ago somebody sent me pictures of the festival on social media and I just couldn’t believe it. I’ve had so many sleepless nights over it. They were just so barbaric, it was so upsetting. I thought if we turned away we’re almost condoning it,” Lisa told The Daily Mail in March. “Ken felt equally passionate about it. It’s just such an awful annual event. They are man’s best friend and I just want to do something about it.”

In March 2016, Lisa and Ken launched “Vanderpump Dog Foundation,” a non-profit organization with the goal of improving the well-being of dogs around the world. The couple hopes to do so by impacting global legislation, education, and the overall treatment of animals.

In addition to the Vanderpump‘s dog rescue center in WeHo, the couple is also trying to set up a rescue center in Yulin, China to rescue them from the festival, take care of them, and find them homes. However, the main goal of the organization is to stop the Yulin Dog Meat Festival forever.

Viewers can expect to see the labor of doggy love chronicled on the show. The couple is solidifying a location, and plans to break ground in the next few months.

Season 7 is going to the dogs — in a good way, and there is little doubt that Lisa Vanderpump will keep things lively, in Bravo’s 90210.
