Jules Wainstein Is Living With Estranged Husband Michael Amid Divorce Proceeding #RHONY
Jules and Michael Wainstein are giving the Roses a run for their money, because the Real Housewives of New York rookie is still living in the family home, with her estranged husband.
Michael, 44, filed for divorce in mid May, but an insider tells US Weekly “neither wanted to be away from the kids.” The couple shares two children, Jagger, 6, and Rio, 3.
Living under the same roof has been rough, according to the source, who claims that the couple has been throwing venomous accusations at each other, while trying to share the space.
“Jules is going through a living hell,” says a second insider. “Michael cut her off so she has no way of paying for the kids.”
Michaels’s attorney, Mark Jay Heller cites a different reason, for the nasty home atmosphere.
“Jules’ real goal is to create some drama to increase her stock on the Real Housewives,” Heller says.
Jules, 33, has accused the venture capitalist of cheating, and Michael alleged that Jules physically abused him, in 2012.
Jules will be leaning on her co-stars during the vicious divorce battle, and Luann de Lesseps offers her thoughts and advice to Jules.
“I feel bad that she’s going through what she’s going through, and I really didn’t have a clue that she was having marital problems,” the Countess commented. “My advice is to hopefully handle it the best way you can, and that is to protect your children. And to try to maintain a relationship with your ex so that your kids know that they’re loved and that Mommy and Daddy, even though they’re not together, they have a friendship.”
Ramona Singer, who split from her husband, Mario, last season, shares her own words of encouragement.
“I really believe that in life, one grows from the hardships, and this is definitely a major hardship, but I think she’ll grow from it, and be stronger for it,” Singer said. “And I respect her a lot, and I think she’s more resilient than she knows.”
