Shannon Beador Backpedals & Pretends To Like The Necklace David Gifted Her After Harsh Criticism #RHOC
Shannon Beador and her reaction to her husband David’s Valentine’s gift has put the star of The Real Housewives of Orange County on the defensive.
After receiving backlash for being ungrateful and unappreciative for the necklace, Shannon took to Twitter to defend herself. Let’s go back to what Shannon actually said about the gift. After the couple ordered dinner, Shannon begin to open her gift and David says, “I don’t know if you are going to like it, but it’s something you would never buy yourself.” That’s an understatement!
When Shannon sees it for the first times she says, “Wooowww. Is it a necklace?”
Or a lovely bungee cord? I can understand Shannon’s confusion. After a few minutes of figuring out how to put on the necklace, Shannon says, “I love it.”
However, in a Talking Head interview, Shannon says what she really thinks of David‘s gift.
“Oh my gosh.” Clutching the sides of her face. “Oftentimes David picks out things for me that I would never pick out for myself. And eventually they grow on me. This one may take a while to grow on me.”
Then the backpedaling started on social media.
I am very appreciative and grateful for my thoughtful husband. He didn't like the necklace he gave me once I had it on. #RHOC

What wife has loved EVERY gift their husband has given them in 15 years? He didn't like it either when I had it on. #notcomplaining #RHOC

So did Shannon keep the necklace? That would be a no.
David didn't like the necklace and took it back. He bought me the gold necklace and earrings I am wearing for the interview instead! 👍❤️😃
