Katie joined the show in its debut season, alongside, Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Robyn Dixon, Karen Huger and Charrisse Jackson Jordan. The status of the rest of the cast remains up in the air with production on season two currently underway.

Before the show debuted in January 2016, Bravo teased that it was “the show you never saw coming, and it’s going to take everyone by surprise.”

In season one, Katie clashed with Gizelle Bryant. The costars argued over race identity and questionable behavior exhibited by Katie throughout the season. Gizelle accused the mother of three of using drugs and slammed her parenting, “If you are concerned about your children’s custody then don’t get on tv drunk and high,” Gizelle tweeted in April.

RHOP is one of two new additions to the ‘Real Housewives’ franchise. The first season of RHOP averaged 2.1 million viewers, making it the network’s highest-rated freshman series since The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills when it comes to total viewers. RHOP also averaged 1.3 million viewers (in P25-54) and 1.2 million (in P18-49), which is Bravo’s highest-rated new series since Vanderpump Rules.

We wish Katie well and looking forward to season 2 of The Real Housewives of Potomac.
