We return to The Real Housewives of Orange County right where we left off – mid-apology – with Vicki and Heather at the yacht party. Before she accepts the apology, Heather has some questions. Like why didn’t Vicki have doubts about Brooks like everyone else? Vicki denies being part of Brooks’ cancer scheme and Heather doesn’t accept or refuse the apology, but gives a litany of items she likes about Vicki, like her children and the fact that she had the balls to show at the party. Heather advises Vicki to talk with the ladies individually.

Back inside Jeana, who only cheers for the underdog, is telling everyone who will listen that Vicki is ready to cry. Jeana then tells Tamra that although Vicki can be mean and hasn’t made any effort with anyone, Tamra should rise above it and talk with Vicki. Jeana explains that love is blind. And it’s obviously color-blind because Vicki didn’t see the giant red flags waving in her face. The boat docks and Vicki is first to walk the gangplank onto dry land. She then cries all the way home, about the girls losing respect and compassion for her. Vicki only wants to be happy and have her love tank filled again.

The following morning at Kelly’s house, it’s time to get Jolie ready for school. She seems fine except for some scrapes on her knees. But then suddenly, she doesn’t feel well and dad totally falls for it. Now that he’s not in charge of Leap Frog, Michael runs the house like he’s CEO, COO and CFO. Problem is, Jolie has missed a lot of school, but don’t worry, Kelly is unwavering and sends Jolie to school. Way to go, Mom!

Next we join the Dubrow’s as they pack for a trip to the Turks & Caicos. Turns out, the only way Terry will hang out with the family is to plan a trip out of the country. Tamra calls to say thanks for last night’s party. She asks about the conversation with Vicki. Heather tells her that Vicki only wants to sweep last year’s mess under the expensive Oriental rug. And although Heather is super busy packing, there’s always time to gossip about new girl, Kelly. Tamra thinks she’s very outspoken, and that’s something coming from Tamra who loves to talk about all things oral.

Ryan, Tamra’s troubled son, stops by for a visit. No shock things didn’t work out between Ryan and Sarah and their whirlwind baby-making romance. Their hobbies included: arguing, getting physical and calling the cops on each other. Sarah is staying in the home that Tamra plunked down $8,000 for while Ryan is “decaying” in an apartment. Tamra tells Ryan to fix this thing. Good luck with that.

We are out to dinner with the happy couple, Shannon and David, in case you weren’t sure who I was referring to. David shares that he spent 45 minutes of his morning on the john. Special. Speaking of special, it’s Valentine’s Day again. These two have a terrible track record with that holiday and this year is no different. David gives Shannon an awful ivory (?) and gold necklace. Small talk includes their house in escrow, with no mention of a new one, and reasons Shannon can no longer can be friends with Vicki. David is very relieved Vicki is now the biggest disappointment in Shannon’s life.

On island time, Terry and Heather sit in their reserved seats with their butler to observe the children play, almost as if it’s a cultural anthropology project, because family time is supposedly important. To make conversation, Terry tells his 12-year old daughter that in two years she’ll be adding vodka to her fruity drinks. Hey dad-of-the-year, when the cameras are rolling, try to refrain from saying stupid stuff! Though we know it’s hard.

Tamra is icing down her sore muscles as she unwittingly reminds Eddie that Ryan still has not paid back the $8,000 she “lent” him and he most likely never will. Eddie wants Tamra to stay out of Ryan and Sarah’s $hit, but Tamra can’t help herself. Eddie and Tamra do not see eye to eye on how to handle Ryan and Sarah’s business. You don’t need to hire a psychic (again) to tell that Tamra and Eddie are headed for a fight.

Earlier in the week, Kelly had reached out to Vicki to invite her to lunch, despite the warnings from Meghan. Vicki correctly assesses that Kelly is a whoop-it-up kind of girl, so she divulges that her breakup with Brooks was harder than both her marriages combined. WTF?! Vicki shares private health information about Briana with Kelly. Then they discuss that Shannon isn’t as nice as they are.

Next, we are at Meghan’s house for kitchen destruction and champagne drinking time with the ladies – terrible combination, but fun for us. Meghan takes a swing at the wall and nearly misses completely. Don’t quit your day job! Oh wait, she doesn’t have one. Shannon, Tamra, and Meghan look at Kelly in stunned awe as she takes the destruction of a wall very seriously – almost personally.

Back on the island, Heather and Terry discuss the future family time they will share in the kitchen of that new monstrosity they are building. Terry says he feels guilty that he doesn’t feel guilty about not spending more time with his kids. Again with the stupid stuff, Terry?

Back at Kelly’s house, the ladies are sitting around drinking when Kelly brings up that she had lunch with Vicki and thinks that Kelly, Tamra, and Shannon are mean girls for how they treated Vicki on the yacht. According to Kelly, Vicki said nothing negative about any of the ladies. Meghan doesn’t believe it and Tamra lets her know that she and Vicki have history that existed long before Kelly did.

The food arrives, and Kelly, realizing she’s not bonding with the ladies, switches the subject to something safer, Tamra and her ex-husband, Simon. “So how’s that working for you?” Kelly asks Tamra. Tamra cries when she admits she hasn’t seen her daughter Sydney in two years. Strike two for Kelly! Quickly, Kelly finds another way to try again with these ladies. She tells them there is trouble in her marriage. Whew! Base hit. Good thinking, Kelly. The ladies are on board to hear her story.

Turns out, Kelly almost got a divorce, but because Michael made it clear he’d rather pay the lawyers than her, Kelly decided to get back together with “Hitler the control freak.” Shannon asks if Kelly is in love with Michael, and she says, “He’s a really nice person – for a narcissist.” And they know this because Michael paid for a psychiatric evaluation that labeled him with Narcissistic Personality Disorder. But the good news is, that base hit was actually an in the park home run – for us!

Next week is 4th of July, so there won’t be a new episode of RHOC. In the meantime, enjoy fun, food, and fireworks with your family!
