AllAboutTheTea.Com was the first to EXCLUSIVELY report that the reality couple sat in a South Carolina court on June 9 to determine the fate of their two children — and Ravenel won big. Kathryn Dennis failed a court ordered drug test, which placed Ravenel solidly in the driver’s seat, in his mission to win back the right to father his children.

At the time, we learned that Kathryn tested positive for marijuana and cocaine, and that Ravenel’s screenings came back clean.

A joint custody agreement was hammered out — a “handshake” arrangement which would stand until the couple entered official mediation, and a judge signed off on a final agreement. Ravenel was immediately given unsupervised joint custody of the children. Kathryn was granted supervised joint custody of Kensie and Saint.

Now, AllAboutTheTea.Com has CONFIRMED new shockers about the game-changing drug test results.

We have discovered that the screenings were ordered by the attorney representing Kathryn Dennis — not by Thomas Ravenel‘s legal team. According to court records obtained by AllAboutTheTea.Com, the following drug screenings were performed by an independent drug lab, to detect potential substance abuse problems in both parents.

1.  Hair follicle test: A hair screening is an examination that uses a small sample of hair to identify specific drugs used by the person being tested. A hair follicle drug test measures the drug   molecules, and covers a period of approximately 90 days, or longer, depending on the length of hair.

2.  Blood test: Blood drug tests detect the presence of the actual drug in your blood and not drug metabolites created by your body as in the urine drug test.

3. Drug urinalysis: This screening tests urine for the presence of certain illegal drugs and prescription medications. The urine drug test usually screens for alcohol, amphetamines, benzodiazepines, marijuana, cocaine, PCP, and opioids (narcotics).

The records reveal a bombshell development in the ongoing drug drama swirling around Dennis.

Kathryn not only tested positive for marijuana and cocaine — she also tested positive for opiates.

Meanwhile, Thomas and Kathryn continue to struggle with their new co-parenting landscape. Allegedly, Kathryn’s custody lawyer was blindsided by the drug test results, because it was her legal team who requested the screenings. According to a source close to the case, Dennis has “stopped communicating with her attorney,” as a result of the court drama.

The rock solid source told AllAboutTheTea.Com that Thomas remains sympathetic to Kathryn’s position; and Ravenel has cleaned up his own act.

Thomas quit drinking 6 months ago and has completely changed his life to be in a solid position to parent his kids.”

Thomas only wants what best for his kids,” the source continues. “He is very concerned about Kathryn’s addiction, and has offered to fund a stint in rehab.”

The source explains that Kathryn has not been receptive to facing her issues, or seeking help.

Kathryn is in complete denial about her drug issues, and won’t own up to anything,” claims the source, who adds, “Kathryn is playing victim and is making outlandish accusations about Thomas, accusing him ofcheating’ the drug test results. She’s lying to save face.”

Stay close, as the dramatic story continues to develop.
