Meghan King Edmonds and her husband Jim are expecting their first child together!

The Real Housewives of Orange County star announced the news on Instagram on Monday.

“We’re expecting a perfect little bundle of sugar and spice and everything nice! Jimmy and I are over the moon! We are thrilled to bring our daughter into our perfectly imperfect blended family in time for the holidays!”

This is the first child for the self proclaimed #CoolStepMom, though she’s had plenty of practice as stepmom to husband Jim’s two children from his previous marriage.

Now four months along, the mom-to-be is expecting a baby girl in November and underwent IVF. She tells People Magazine,

“We went through IVF and fortunately we got pregnant the first time,” Edmonds says, adding she didn’t have fertility issues, but that her husband underwent a vasectomy and froze his sperm. “It was just such a long process with the IVF, step by step by step with so much information.”

Now that Jim and Meghan are starting a family of their own, it’s put her relationship with Haley in “not a great spot.” The RHOC star told Bravo’s Daily Dish that Haley is currently in a “weird” place.

“Yeah, I think the stepparent relationship complicates it. I don’t think she’s that excited about us trying to have a baby with IVF,” Meghan explained. “Then, of course, her mom passed away about a year ago. And then, on top of that, she’s graduated high school. She’s in a weird place in her life.”

Aren’t we all. Unfortunately, that “weird place” has caused Haley to move out of her dad and not #coolstepmom’s home.

“My relationship with Hayley right now is, it’s not in a great spot. She’s 18, and she moved out of our house, and, she knows everything and wants everything,” Meghan said. “She’s trapped between an adult and a teenager.”

The Real Housewives of Orange County returns Monday at 9:oo p.m. ET on Bravo.
