Yikes! ‘RHOC’ Rookie Kelly Dodd Shades Shannon Beador’s Weight Gain & Looks
Real Housewives of Orange County newbie, Kelly Dodd is starting off her rookie season with a bang — hitting the ground running with a juicy dose of social media drama.
OC veteran, Vicki Gunvalson, credits Kelly for helping her to transition back into the Bravo groove, after a brutal Season 10 left her on the outs with several of the ladies. Dodd busts onto the Bravo scene as a friend of Meghan King Edmonds, but quickly bonds with Vicki — Shannon Beador and Tamra Judge — not so much. Dodd used Twitter to fire back at a personal slam by Shannon, who labeled the new girl a “train wreck.”

Dodd denied that the contrasting images had anything to do with Shannon’s fluctuating weight—and more about a less-than-cheery look.
if thats a dig at her weight. That's not shady, Its wrong. She and many people focus to much on weight n it's not easy #RHOC

Viewers witnessed Shannon working to lose weight, last season. Kelly reveals that Shannon had been “mean,” and then cosigned a viewer’s guess on Shannon’s Season 11 game.

Fan reactions were mixed on Shannon and David’s droning, battered-marriage storyline. Shannon will need switch things up, in order to rebound with viewers.
Kelly is kicking off the season with some lively snark, giving promise to a franchise in desperate need of storyline makeovers. Dodd’s tagline is “I don’t throw parties. I am the party!” Fingers crossed that Kelly will live up to her words, and bring a much needed breath of fresh air to the OC!
