RHONY Star Jules Wainstein’s Husband Denies Cheating & Got Sick of Being Her “Drama King”

An attorney for Michael Wainstein is speaking out — blasting allegations that the venture capitalist husband of Real Housewives of New York star, Jules Wainstein, cheated on his wife.

Reports claim that the split was triggered when Jules discovered and “busted” Michael, for cheating.

Michael’s rep, Mark Jay Heller is slamming the accusation, and commented on the reason for the split, on Thursday.

“’[Julianne’s] reality show persona’ has caused her to morph into a wannabe ‘drama queen’ who is totally out of sync with reality to the grave detriment of her long-suffering husband, who no longer chooses to be her foil and assume the role of ‘drama king.’”

Heller denied that his client was caught cheating on the reality star, and cites no such accusation, or even response to the divorce action, from Jules.    

“The marriage is over! But, not due to any fault [of Michael] who was not ‘busted’ for cheating as incorrectly alleged.” Heller adds, “Although Julianne was served with divorce papers dated May 13 … she has not even answered the complaint, let alone alleged adultery.”

Reportedly, cops were called to the couple’s Manhattan home on Thursday,  and police were seen leaving with a written statement, with the words “threatening me…going to ruin my life.” The plot thickens, because an NYPD rep told Page Six that there was no record of a 911 call, or complaint.

Heller described the incident as an example of tactical manipulation.

“She regularly calls the police with false allegations, and the police arrive and find there was no incident. She is trying to create an incident to get him arrested so she can get an order of protection and get exclusive occupancy of the house for herself. That’s a tactic that some women use … This is a tactic she is using to enhance the drama.”

Julianne’s rep responded, commenting that Heller’s “statement speaks for itself — it’s utterly disgusting.”
