Kandi Burruss, star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, is lashing out at critics like Whoopi Goldberg and Jimmy Kimmel over potty training plans for her son, Ace Wells. Those of us who have potty trained before know a child won’t do it until they are good and ready, and this usually occurs after the child can at least crawl to the potty. Ace is only four months old.
Kandi posted a video on Instagram of herself holding Ace up as he sat on the baby toilet seat in the bathroom. Maybe Kandi should keep some things to herself! As you can guess, this sparked a debate, both supportive and unsupportive.
Whoopi said she didn’t agree with Kandi’s decision to potty train so early and Kimmel said that no one should be “taking advice from a Housewife.”
Kandi responded to the naysayers on social media.
“Don’t knock it til u try it @theview & @jimmykimmel. U don’t have to take advice from a housewife but I bet Ace will b potty trained before 22 months! Lol!”
Maybe so, but it will be a long and frustrating 18-months for everyone involved.
Tell us what you think. Is Kandi potty training too early or should everyone mind their own damn business?
