EXCLUSIVE: ‘Sister Wives’ The Identity of Meri Brown’s Catfish Lover’s Face Revealed!
Meri Brown’s online lover’s claimed identity has stood at a stalemate since the beginning of the Sister Wives catfish scandal, with mystery lover “Sam Cooper” only illustrated by a half-faced photo below.
The image has puzzled and frustrated followers of the juicy story, most of whom believe that “Sam” is actually an online female catfish, by the name of Jackie Overton.

Google image searches are thwarted by chopped images, and no unearthed photos have quite hit the bullseye — until now. An astute All About the Tea poster reported that “Sam” is allegedly using the photo-identity of Shaant Hacikyan, the frontman of the band, Cute is What We Aim For.
Hacikyan is 29-years-old, and stands at 6’1” tall. Cute is What We Aim For is pop/rock band from Buffalo, New York. The band formed in 2005, and has since released two albums. The band was previously signed with record label Fueled by Ramen for their two releases, but is currently unsigned. The band performed on The Vans Warped Tour, in 2014, and are touring in Australia, in 2016.
A 2013 video gives us a few minutes with Hacikyan, and reveals a moving and speaking lookalike to the elusive “Sam Cooper.”
“Sam” appears to have indirectly confirmed the accusation, because only hours after the smoking gun accusation was posted, his Twitter profile picture changed for the first time, to a different half-faced man.
Shaant is 29, but “Sam’s” new photographic identity looks even younger — “Sam” is portrayed to be 43.
We all know that Meri Brown has a weakness for musicians, based on her past Twitter flirtation with Steele Saldutti, a bass guitarist from the band VanLadyLove. Maybe Mare should have been uttering “Oh Shaant” NOT “Oh Sam.” CUTE is definitely what the discarded wife of Kody Brown aims for!
Stay close, as we continue to follow the alleged discovery — and a big shout-out to All About the Tea poster, GeddyTwee, for possibly cracking the case!
