Camille Grammer, former star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, is experiencing a case of insult to injury. Details are leaking out from a recent deposition concerning conversations between Camille and her psychiatrist about abuse she received by her ex-husband Kelsey Grammer during their marriage.

So why is this coming out now? In October 2013, while in Houston being treated for cancer, Camille accused her now ex-boyfriend Dmitri Charalambopoulos of assaulting her. He claimed that Camille lied about this assault and sued for defamation. As part of this lawsuit, Charalambopoulos is able to depose Camille’s psychiatrist to learn what she said about the incident. So much for doctor/patient confidentiality.

The Daily Mail is claiming that her psychiatrist, Bethany Tucker, told attorneys that “Camille said she was verbally and physically abused” by Kelsey Grammer. The notes from the sessions include the following:

Camille was “realizing the abuse she took from Kelsey and how it affected her.” “Sometimes she [Camille] felt she had … some verbal abuse.”

Camille spoke about “an incident where Kelsey Grammar grabbed her arm or injured her shoulder.”

So why is Charalambopoulos doing this? It’s an attempt to make Camille share her medical and divorce records. Tucker has so far refused to share all the files, but admitted to prescribing Klonopin in 2011 to Camille while going through her divorce from Grammer. Additionally, after the attack in 2013, Tucker prescribed Effexor and Lexapro to combat the PTSD, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts Camille was experiencing after Charalambopoulos alleged attack.

Kelsey Grammer’s reps have said, “We have never commented on her public comments and do not intend to start now.”

Story is still developing.
