NeNe Leakes Will Attend The White House Correspondents’ Dinner #RHOA
Look who’s going to Washington! Ms. NeNe Leakes is in the house – the White House Correspondent’s Dinner that is.
This event is always filled with the who’s who of Hollywood and movers and shakers of Washington DC. And she has an actual invite – not like other Housewives who like to crash important DC events.
NeNe was selected by The Washington Blade, a DC based LGBT publication along with Melissa Harris-Perry as their guests for the work as “prominent LGBT allies.”
“Both of these women have been allies to the LGBT community in different ways and the Blade is happy to thank them for their visibility by inviting them to join our table at the White House Correspondents Dinner,” Blade editor Kevin Naff said.
NeNe tweeted her excitement about being selected to the #Nerd Prom.

Say what you want about NeNe, but this is a HUGE deal and should be lots of fun. This year’s emcee is Larry Wilmore, host of The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore on Comedy Central.
The 2016 WHCD event is on Saturday, April 30.
