The ladies of Real Housewives of Dallas are intent on making their debut season a huge hit!

The most talked about ‘Housewife’ is 48-year-old, LeeAnne LockenAll About the Tea recently had the pleasure to exclusively chat with the new Bravolebrity.

The ‘Real Housewife’ is an entrepreneur, former beauty queen, actress and philanthropist.

Nowadays, Locken spends most of her time working on causes near and dear to her heart. Locken says she got involved in the Bravo project by chance.

“As with any other reality show, there is a general premise about the show that comes out, and they were looking for women who juggle charities and a busy life,” she told AllAboutTheTea.com. “I love charity so an opportunity to highlight charity was a no-brainer and I said yes!”

Her life today is surrounded by glitz, glamour, and high society charity events, but she didn’t grow up that way. The 48-year-old started her career as a carny when she was only a toddler.

“I started working during the summers when I was 3-years old in the carnival with my mother,” she said. “I worked for my mom and then other people. When I was 11 I bought my own game and I had adults working for me.”

As a teenager, she left the carny world behind for the big city,

“I got into modeling and acting when I was 16. Acting led to TV hosting and producing my own show.” From there Locken got involved in charity work.

LeeAnne entered her first pageant in Houston and ending up going all the way to 6th in Miss USA.

RHOD is not Locken’s first reality show, she has appeared on TV Land’s ‘She’s Got The Look’ and made cameos in such movies such as Miss Congeniality.

Locken is at the center of much drama this season and her costars have their claws out. The former beauty queen found herself being attacked a lot.

“I NEVER….start a single argument.” She adds, “If you have something to say, just say it but when they can’t say it—it’s done—I’m good to walk away. But most of the time, it is brought to me and then I have the ability to answer it at a volume higher than they are. ”

She continued: “I don’t think any of them are my nemesis. I understand each one of them and their reasoning for their actions,” she explained. “I know when an action is simply out of naivety – not understanding the situation wholeheartedly and just wanting to believe something and when their actions are from malicious intent.”

The Real Housewives of Dallas airs Mondays at 10/9c on Bravo.
