Former ‘RHOBH’ Star Marisa Zanuck Files for Divorce From Husband Dean
There’s another Beverly Hills breakup to report, but this one’s very Hollywood.
Remember Marisa Zanuck from season three of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? She wasn’t a full-time housewife, just a friend, but Marissa was best known for admitting on television she had almost no attraction to her husband, Dean Zanuck, son of Richard D. Zanuck, mega-producer (Jaws, Cocoon, Yes Man) whom many would consider Hollywood royalty.
Marissa was a fun girl on the show, but toward the end of the season, her father-in-law passed away. A real-estate relationship was formed between Marissa and Mauricio Umansky to represent the sale of the Zanuck estate.
After 13-years of apparent ramped incompatibility, Marisa, 42, filed for divorce in Los Angeles in February, according to TMZ. She is asking Dean, 43, for joint custody of their son, Jack, 13, and daughter, Darryl, 11.
Since her time on RHOBH, Marisa has made several appearances on Million Dollar Listings: LA and has begun her own BH brokerage firm called Nest Seekers/Zanuck teaming up with Ryan Serhant from Million Dollar Listing: NY.
Prior to splitting with Dean, this is what Marissa told the Beverly Hills Courier about her business venture. “I’m scared to fail. But being scared motivates me. Every day [my husband] tells me, ‘I’m so proud of you.’”
