So, here we are. The finale. The last episode of Mob Wives ended with Drita making threats after
Tasmanian Devil Brittany told her about Karen smack talking her husband. Drita still thinks Karen wants Lee for some reason unknown to everyone who isn’t Drita.
Renee seems like she’s in a pretty calm place lately. She’s taking Ballroom Dancing lessons, and she’s preforming in a residual. She invited everyone who supported her. Renee is only concerned about her family. She’s over the drama. She says dramatic people can go f**k themselves. Her dance instructor lost his voice. He can’t yell at her! She’s working on the new Renee. If she says she’s going to do something, she does it. Even if it terrifies her.
It’s showtime! Karen, Carla, Marissa, her friend Nikole, her son AJ and his girlfriend show up to support Renee. They bring flowers! Ang couldn’t make it because she had a Dr. appointment. Karen says she couldn’t ever take dancing lessons. She doesn’t take direction well. AJ gets all the credit. He told her to get a hobby. He’s not a dancer. Nikole says Renee‘s very nervous. Renee thinks she forgot the steps. Renee is dancing the rhumba! Renee says the dancing lessons has been like therapy for her, but she’s very nervous. Karen talks about Renee building walls. This is a big deal. She needs to let the walls down once in awhile.
Drita goes to visit Ang. Ang makes her some coffee. Drita loves smack talking over a great cup of coffee. It’s the same ole thing. Karen‘s out to get her. Karen‘s a liar. Ang tries to calmly explain, but it sends Drita over the edge. She doesn’t want to hear it. Even if Marissa says she never said Karen was the one spreading the rumors. That sends Drita on a rant about Marissa. She wants to have a sit down with Karen, Marissa, and Brittany. Time to hash it all out. Translation: She wants to beat the ever living crap out of Karen.
Karen brings her daughter to a parking lot, so Karina can practice parking. Karen is concerned her beef with Drita will spread to the next generation. Karina goes to school with Drita‘s daughter. She wants her daughter to have a great Staten Island life. She’s proud of her daughter. She built a life for herself. Karina gets behind the wheel and runs into a curb. Karen says Karina doesn’t think Karen‘s her mom. She thinks Karen‘s her roommate in college or something. Now my mom never taught me how to drive, but Karina’s lesson is the average parent/kid driving lesson right?
Marissa‘s hanging out at home. Drita calls her, and immediately goes off when Marissa says “Speaking of the devil…” She says she’s “bent.” Ang is saying Marissa never said this or that. She says they need to meet up to figure out who’s lying. Marissa says “Why do you need your minion there?” Drita says she wants to know who said what. Drita goes completely over the edge and starts screaming on the phone. She says she’s done being nice. Marissa says Drita has a Napoleon complex going on. Drita screams louder about shutting sh*t down. Bouncers better get the hell out of the way because Drita‘s going old school. She even tells the producer guy to watch out.
Drita‘s riding in the car with Brittany. She says Karen‘s always hiding behind someone. Brittany says she has no one to hide behind. Marissa can’t help her. I think your last fight proved that’s not true. Drita‘s so pissed she’s going to call Karen out. She’s going to show them who’s boss. Did anyone notice the restaurant not only closed down, but took all the glass dishes and silverware off the table?
Karen says Drita fights with her fists because she can’t win with her words. She’s a liar. She makes stuff up, and she’s a snake. Karen says if it comes down to it, she’ll fight Drita. She doesn’t want to fight because she tries not to portray herself that way. She wants to talk about it before they use their fists. Karen says they have a long history that built up their situation. She plans on shutting her up once and for all. Marissa says she would respect Drita more if she admitted she misunderstood the situation. Drita threw Marissa‘s name in the mix because she has a “hard on” for Karen.
Meanwhile Renee, Carla and Ang are having dinner somewhere else. She says there’s a lot of rage built up. They’re going to kill each other. Renee thinks they may be able to get everything out on the table, and it’ll turn out okay.
Drita says no more nice guy, she’s going old school. So this looks like one of those Old West showdowns with a rabid animal in the mix. Drita says she welcomed Karen when she came back and no one liked her. She’s done nothing but cause problems. Karen says you have to really know someone to see the evil. She welcomed Drita into “their world.” She knows the truth and it terrifies Drita.
Drita doesn’t even let them sit down before her mouth starts going. Marissa tries being a mediator, but Brittany jumps in asking her what her”claim is to this lifestyle and culture?” Brittany who grew up in PA after her dad snitched to the feds. Yeah, irony isn’t lost on me. Marissa says “Just shut your mouth.” Marissa gets so annoyed she tries jumping across the table, but security stops that and they both sit down. Marissa says she feels bad for Brittany. “Someone needs to bless that bitch.” That was the warm up to the real showdown between Karen and Drita. Drita says “who you talking about?” Karen says “You bitch.” Then Karen calls Drita a dumb dramatic bitch and it’s on like donkey kong. Drita says every time she sees Karen, she’s punching her in the face. Karen says Drita only wanting to use her fists proves she’s a liar, and she has something to hide. The producer steps in and asks if they can continue the conversation without the fighting. Karen says she doesn’t want to get to the point. She’s an animal.
Brittany tries yelling about naming a place. Karen says “Shut the f**k up you irrelevant bitch.” Drita wants blood. The Producer draws the line. Sit down and have a conversation or call it a night. Karen says Drita‘s a fake gangster. She should win an award as the biggest green screen gangster. Drita says Karen stalks Lee. Karen says no one’s obsessed with her husband. He’s not a nice guy. He’s not liked on the streets. He cheats on her. Finally the whole thing ends with Karen calling Drita a fraud. Drita promises to attack Karen every time she sees her.
Two Months Later. Karen has stayed far away from the drama. She’s focused on her daughter Karina’s big modeling gig. She has a special bond with Karina. Through thick and thin Karina’s always stood by her mom. Karen says Karina‘s her best friend. Ever since the dramatic showdown Karen hasn’t spoken to Drita, and she doesn’t give a flying f**k! Karen thinks loyalty is important. People talk about loyalty, but you don’t know about true loyalty until it’s tested. Karen says the mob is something she grew up with, but she never understood. She understands the mob is about loyalty, respect, brotherhood, and protecting each other. Outsiders aren’t welcome. Karen, Renee, Carla and Ang are bound by the life they grew up in, and they’ll continue to be there for each other. Karen says her crime is giving the wrong people respect.
Renee has been in the best place. She’s going to keep moving forward. She takes her son and his girlfriend out to eat. She says this group of girls has been through ups and downs. Some of them will be friends forever. Others not so much. In this lifestyle betrayal comes from the inside. Renee talks to her son about engagement. She’s proud of the man her son has become. He’s been through ups and downs. AJ says he’s going to propose in Paris. Renee says back in the day when she entered a room it was like the red sea parted. She never had to had to pick up a check. Then reality struck. Renee says her crime is falling in love with a lifestyle made for men.
Carla takes her kids ice skating. She says a lot has changed in the last five years. Her husband went to jail. She became a single mom. It was hard on her, but harder on her kids. Her kids are her life. She can’t believe her kids are teenagers already. She doesn’t regret growing up in the lifestyle. She doesn’t want her kids growing up in this lifestyle. She wants them to be successful, and smart. She’s a loyal person. She’ll never go against people close to her, and stab them in the back. Carla says her crime is being loyal to a fault.
Drita gets a little emotional when she makes dinner for her husband and kids. There were times in her life she thought that would never happen. We finally see Lee (part of him anyway.) Her family has been through a lot. They have an unbreakable bond. Her family is in the best place it’s ever been. The life she grew up in you do everything and anything for your family. Protect and love them. Drita says Karen is a backstabbing bitch. She’s irrelevant to her and her life. Drita calls Ang a true friend. She went through Hell to get to the good place she’s in today. She wouldn’t change anything. Drita says her crime is being in love with a former professional bank robber.
Ang was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung/brain cancer. She has a fight ahead of her. She’s feeling down, but her son says think positive and focus on her grand babies. She has to start chemo and radiation. She hates cancer. She wants to kick the sh*t out of it, but it’s going to be rough. She kicked Neil to the curb again. No more men. She’s focused on herself. Dr’s orders. No stress. Over the years, she’s stayed out of the drama. She’s enjoyed her time with the girls. She loves each and every one of them in a special way. She’s still Big Ang, and everyone still loves her. Sick or not. She says this lifestyle brings big drama, but most of the time people can get past it, and move on. Other times what’s done is done.
Alison is a 32 year old native of The Bay Area, California. She loves reality shows. Guess you can say she’s sort of an addict, the crazier, the better! She’s sarcastic, snarky, brutally honest (tell it like it is kinda girl), but she does have a soft side as well.
