Remember that really embarrassing thing you did to your ex after the breakup? It was childish and immature, but felt oh-so-good at the time? Yeah, we’ve all been there. Here’s the difference between the rest of us and Katie Rost, the self-described “ball and gala” girl from The Real Housewives of Potomac —  we didn’t blog about it so that our TV friends could Google it and read it out loud when we’re on a road trip to Bethany Beach.

See, our debutante used to date, hip hop mogul and entrepreneurial genius. Actually, Katie lived with him. And while she was living with him, he pulled a Hugh Hefner move and demoted her to the guest bedroom and bumped a new girlfriend into the master suite. Naturally, Katie was pissed. Why she stayed is anyone’s guess, because I would have packed my bags, cut the crotch out of every pair of pants he owned, and have been out there. But Katie stayed. And blogged about it. Then she had the lack of good sense to tell the other Housewives about it during the ride to the beach.

Gizelle Bryant wasted no time in asking if it was Google-able and pulled that shit up on her phone. She spent the trip entertaining the rest of the ladies by reading it out loud. And Katie had the audacity to get angry about it. Girl. Seriously.

So here are a few highlights from her angry, jealous blogs. Enjoy!

“I’m not a petty, competitive woman! (Yes I am) but I’m totally ok with the fact that my time with Russell was beautiful but brief. I am genuinely happy that our friendship has formed in the wake. I’m also happy that he has found someone else whose company he enjoys. No, no, no people, I’m not going to hate on Julie Henderson! She’s extremely cute for a White girl. (I’m more partial to the ethnic look, but to each their own.)”

Oh yeah, she sure sounds happy, doesn’t she?

“If I make broad and ridiculous statements about entire groups of people, if I criticize someone for aspects that are not fully encompassing our respectful to there true self, which is a divine being, a child of God, a vessel of love and light….. Perhaps I’m just being a human being.  Perhaps I’m being funny?  Perhaps I’m having an ability to be honest about the realities we live in, how I process them and what my reaction is.”

Look, she’s maturing. So self-aware. So honest, speaking her truth.

“At the end of all of that, so what? Sometimes a White Stringy Haired b*tch is a White Stringy Haired b*tch.”

Or maybe not. And maybe she’s not that smart either. Who takes on their super rich and famous ex—in whose house you are still parking your ass—and slams his new girl? Only Katie.

So how does she feel about it now? Is she embarrassed by her outburst? Which will live in cyber history forever and ever.

“I own everything I do. I am who I am. I have a right to be happy and sad and everything in between. That’s what life is. I’m not acting or out to protect my ego. Enough said.”

Sounds like a case of “sorry, not sorry” from her blog a couple of weeks ago.

“I love everything about Russell Simmons and Kimora and how he handles himself as a friend, a mentor, a businessman, and a civil rights advocate. I feel blessed to have him on speed dial. Don’t regret a thing.”

Um, we’re not asking if you regret dating him, Katie. We’re asking if you regret behaving like a fool.

Is it just me or is Katie a bit light in the gray matter? And would you ever take to social media to vent your anger at an ex?
