And the winner of Gwininfest is Young B. Young B. does a little celebration dance. She says she put her attitude aside, got to work, and had support from her manager. She’s so excited she did it! Mariah is disappointed she didn’t win. She’s glad Young B. won. She didn’t want BBOD didn’t win, so she’s good with it. Remy basically says the other girls were good, but Bianca was great. Moe says she doesn’t understand what the judges were thinking. She was lip synching. Yandy is so proud. Young B. finally took her advice, and it payed off!
Cue the sad music because here we go with Peter thinking about how much he’s hurt the people around him. He thinks a vasectomy is a good idea. First he needs to make sure his “last baby” is ok. He meets Tara at the Drs. office to find out the sex of the baby. So, the Dr. does the ultrasound. She asks what they think it is. Peter thinks it’s a girl. It’s another boy for Tara and Peter. Tara says she hasn’t spoken to Peter in awhile, but he wanted to be there to find out the sex. Tara is happy he wanted to be included in this happy occasion. She does want to set boundaries with Peter. Peter has news of his own. He says he’s taking steps to be more responsible. He’s getting a vasectomy. Tara says she’ll believe it when she says it. Amina has no idea he made this huge decision. Yet.
Papoose meets his wife so they can pick out linen for their wedding. He’s on this no drama, everyone has to get along kick. He’s not happy to hear about the Gwininfest drama Rah Ali was involved in. Remy tried to ease his fears. She wasn’t near the fight, and it didn’t endanger her parole status. Papoose is worried. Little things can get her into big trouble. He doesn’t want her going back to jail. He suggests Remy cut out the people who can get her into trouble again. Everyone has eyes on her because she’s a celebrity.
Winning Gwininfest has opened a lot of doors for Young B. One of the prizes is a track produced by Amadeus. He’s one of the hottest producers in the business. He’s worked with a lot of hot celebs. Mariah and Cardi visit their buddy in the studio. Cardi is happy Young B. won. She’s NOT happy about having the same hairstyle again. Cardi wants to hear about the drama that went down at Gwininfest. She heard some things. Mariah says you missed the circus because the clowns came to town. Mariah explains what happened when she pulled out the alleged R.O. Cardi says she’s jealous because Mariah’s skinny. She’s sick of hearing about BBOD. They try to be thugs, but they aren’t. She wants to know why she went after Mariah when her REAL problem is with Bianca? That’s some goofy ish.
They move on. Cardi talks about everything she has going on right now. Her still incarcerated boyfriend wants her to stay home and be a housewife with a bunch of kids. That’s not who she is. She’s done everything he’s wanted. She gave up stripping. She misses it. Mariah’s mom is about to pop out a brother or sister. She’ll be responsible for the kid because her mom’s about to go to jail again. She’s been focusing on her career so she can provide for the child while her mom’s incarcerated.
Remy wants to buy her hubby a nice ring because he’s been so great to her over the years. Rah meets her at the jewelry store so they can talk about the Gwininfest drama. Pap is trying to keep everyone involved in the wedding drama free. Rah says there’s been drama on social media and in the clubs. She couldn’t take it anymore, so she allowed her emotions to take over. She basically thinks Yandy is purposely taking jabs at her. Remy says she spoke to Yandy. Yandy had no clue about the drama between her friend and Rah. Rah thinks it’s B.S. She can admit when she’s wrong. She was wrong when she let her emotions get the best of her. Bottom Line: Pap’s worried so Remy wants to make sure the drama between Rah and Yandy doesn’t affect the wedding. Rah reassures her friend. The wedding is a priority, so she’ll keep her emotions under control.
Mendeccees was finally sentenced. He got eight years. He feels relief, but he thinks a day away from his family is too long. Yandy is upset the prosecutor pushed for ten years. Medeecees says even when he’s away, he’s still with them. Don’t cry for him. It breaks his heart to see Yandy cry. She needs to be strong for the kids now. She’s all they have. He’s worried about his kids staying together. He’s putting together a dinner with all of the important women in his life to talk about the kids. He wants to be able to see them when he’s locked up. Yandy says she has an open relationship with all of the moms. Her numbers haven’t changed. They can call her up whenever. She champions for all of them to be one big happy family.
Now that BBOD has reunited, they’ve wasted no time getting back to work. They’re filming their first music video produced by Uncle Trech. He’s been a champion for BBOD, and he has great experience because of his years with Naughty By Nature. They take a break to dish their thoughts on Gwininfest. They talk smack about Young B. and Mariah. Young B. has a fake wig, and Mariah Lynn is nosey. Moe denies she took out a R.O. on Young B. If she did, Young B. would be in jail. They move onto management. Moe wants Lexy to dump her current manager. Moe makes a good point. They’re being managed by two women who can’t stay in the same room with eachother. She thinks Rah made a fool out of herself by poppin off when she got after Moe about the same thing. They need a manager who doesn’t bring drama with her. Lexy agrees. I think they decided to dump Rah as Lexy’s manager.
Yandy has a bunch of stuff going on in her personal life, but she agreed to help Remy with the flowers. Yandy wants to catch up. Remy is her only friend who can understand what her family is going through. She’s looking for some advice. They talk about Medeecees sentencing, and how it’s affecting them. Yandy wants to throw Remy a bachelorette party. She wants Remy to learn a stripper routine, and at the end Remy can dress up like a stripper ho and make a video for Pap. Remy thinks this is the time to bring up Rah. She’s not having a bachelorette party without her. Yandy thinks it’s ridiculous. Anyone else would pull her aside to talk about the situation. Rah thinks Yandy brought the girl to cause drama. Yandy says she wouldn’t bring drama. That’s not how she lives her life. Remy doesn’t want issues at her party. Yandy says if there’s time she’ll pull Rah aside to talk.
Tara is eight months pregnant, so it’s time to start telling people. She decides to tell her friend Yandy. Yandy is surprised, but perplexed about the whole Peter situation. They aren’t getting back together. If she wanted to be in a half-assed relationship she’d get back together with him. She’s proud of herself for realizing that. Last time Yandy talked to Tara she was over Peter. Peter’s still married. Tara says she loved him, and she went there. She hopes people will understand.
Cardi’s hanging out at the bar with her sister and friend. Cardi complains about everyone she hangs out with being fake. Self hears her at the bar, and the drama begins. Cardi says she’s pissed because she’s done everything she could to help Self out, but he does nothing to help her out. She’s pissed he put BBOD on the radio. She says he’s selling his soul. Self says as a DJ he’s a messenger. Self still doesn’t see Cardi as a serious artist. BBOD has handled themselves professionally with him. That’s why he plays their music. Until Cardi comes at him correct, Self won’t see her as an artist. Cardi yells at him more about it, but decides to leave before they call the cops on her. Self doesn’t understand why people have problems with BBOD.
It’s time for Remy’s bachelorette party, and she’s dressed hot. Yandy has it all planned out. She has someone coming to teach them how to sexy dance. Hopefully Pap can see some new sexy moves on their wedding night. Rah’s confused. She says Yandy hardly knows Remy. She promises to be cordial. Yandy immediately decides to pull Rah aside to talk. Yandy expresses her confusion about what happened at Gwininfest. Rah says Yandy claiming she didn’t know about the beef Rah had with her friend is B.S. Yandy says Rah is the furthest thing in her mind when she does things. Rah says that’s her perception. She accepts it, and they can move past it. Rah calls Yandy out for befriending Remy right after Remy/Rah had a fight. Yandy says she met up with Remy. They had a great time. They both promise to behave for Remy’s sake.
Mendeecees has dinner with all the important women in his life. He wants to discuss keeping the family together while he’s away. Mendeecees wants his children to know he loves them, and he wants them to come see him. One of them isn’t sure she wants her son to see him in prison because he’s almost a teenager. So, Mendeecees mom offends one of the baby mama’s by talking about her “mistake.” (She got arrested.) Everyone calms down thanks to Yandy. They all agree to keep the children close, and they’ll bring the kids to see him whenever they can.
