Nene Leakes has made a formidable splash on E’s Fashion Police, and now the Real Housewives of Atlanta veteran is responding to rumors,  claiming tense conflicts with the cast and production. Leakes did an interview with transgender blogger, Love B Scott, and revealed her take on the reports, and dished on the behind the scenes drama.

Nene addressed Kris Jenner stepping into her spot, and shared details about the timing of Jenner’s appearance. Leakes explained that it was never in the plan for her to sit on the Fashion Police couch, full-time.

“I was only hired to do 10 of the 12 episodes for Fashion Police because I already had previous engagements. When Kris Jenner was on, I was in Canada working my clothing line. When the Oscars are coming up, I’ll be in NYC hosting an Oscars party for Samsung,” Leakes said.

Reports have surfaced, claiming that Leakes has been causing tension with her co-hosts, with chatter alleging that Nene’s big personality is intentionally stealing the spotlight. Supposedly, Melissa Rivers has had to regulate speaking time increments, in order to keep the cast happy. There have also been whispers about Leakes having an icy and catty relationship with Giuliana Rancic. Nene kept things mysterious during the eyebrow-raising interview, neither confirming nor denying such a feud.

“What I do know is that I’ve been very kind to everyone on that set. That includes, Giuliana, Melissa, Brad, Margaret — now, I am not saying it has been reciprocated. What I am saying is that I have been professional and kind to everyone,” Leakes said, throwing a hint of shade. “All of these things that you’re hearing, I’m hearing. I don’t know if any of these things are true or not. All I know is that Margaret is super sweet. She’s kind to me.”

How do you like Nene’s BIG personality on the Fashion Police couch? Do you think she will become a permanent fixture on E?
