Kim Richards and Kimberly Jackson are sharing how Kim’s never-ending struggle for sobriety affects their relationship dynamic on their new show, The Mother/Daughter Experiment.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum hit rock bottom last year, when she was arrested for public intoxication and shoplifting. Jackson has sadly assumed the role as caretaker to her mom, and shared in her confessional video,
“I feel like I’m her caretaker because she’s fragile physically and emotionally. And it does overwhelm me.”
Kim, 51, states the blatantly obvious, when she comments,
“I need to remember how my decisions do affect Kimberly.”
Wait…what? THIS is just dawning on a woman with lifelong addiction issues, and four grown children?
Kim describes her stint on the RHOBH as “an experience,” and one that hurt her. Kim speaks of being “beat up by some of the girls on my show,” (MY?) while Jackson admits that there are “other things” going on at home, that play into the dysfunction.
What do you think of Kim and Kimberly’s new project—a paycheck for a flailing junkie, or therapy that could prove helpful?
